I would like to ask about names for permanent forts. How to name forts? I know that it is possible, but i have no idea how to do it. expandet.txt?

No, not possible as such. You need a 'spare' faction with invisible, frozen AI spy's or some such nonesense. Do a search you'll find plenty of threads about it...
Interesting... What should i look for?
'Naming forts'
i'm sorry, but i could find nothing. I found something about changing the model of the forts, something about editing 3d models for forts but nothing about name for forts. May i request for help?
Most of the time princesses are being used, but you can use any 'visible' agent (spy and assassin will not work). It has to be a spare faction with the AI frozen (like the Aztecs in vanilla) - descr_stat entry like the mongols. You then have to spawn them (adding them in descr_strat causes miles of non fatal error messages) on the co-ordinate of the fort, and additionally 'move' them again onto those co-ordinates as they will 'slide' off during the spawn.
They will also get pushed off the forts, therefore you will need to 'retire' them every round (before the player's turn) and respawn and move them again.
If you want to go further, then you will have to remove\change their audio responses and edit their portrait.
Tried and tested for 1648 (pending patch).
So i suppose it is a matter of scripting spawn characters of those frozen faction? So i understand - i need to make the name of the fort as a name of character in campaign_script?
Check my latest tutorial - you can be the first to read it!
So it's time to meke named fortsThank you

Is there a maximum amount of forts? I have weird situation at thism moment. I added some new forts. After running the campaign i have names of those forts, but i have not forts! I have checked code carefully but i didn't find any gap. I can find of only one explanation for this phenomenon: the limit of the forts.
What do you thing about it?
I don't know how much i have forts, but it's not enought yetI'll try to make it once again. Maybe this is something what i just cannot see.
It could be your forts are not set to be permanent in descr_campaign_db.xml
They are set as permanent.
I don't know what that was, but i made it from scratch again and it works now.
