Default Rebellion! (Closed Event to Italian Characters ONLY!)

The news spreads like wildfire. It is not a rumour.
The people of Rome have rebelled. Why? Because the Emperor showed mercy on their rival city.
The Emperor and Pope Sylvester II have been besieged in the palace. While they are protected with the Emperor's knights, the palace would soon fall if not relieved, for even the best guards cannot defeat an entire city. It is also said that the prefect of Rome is leading the rebels.

This will be moderated/supervised by me. There will be no German characters allowed in this event as it stated that only Italian characters are allowed in this Open.

Johann Raabe arrives in Rome, concerned about the Roman Rebellion. Worried about spending too long on the lawless streets he ducks into a grimy looking tavern.

Viscount Cesare looks out over Rome as the sun turns red at the horizon. Behind him is an army of 4 000 levies, ready to attack at his command. His adviser, August von Niederteschen, comes out from a tent and stand beside Cesare.

My lord, the Emperor and the Pope are trapped inside the Imperial Palace. It could fall at any moment and we have no idea the numbers of the Rebel Army and who's leading them. I suggest we attack now.

Hold your horses, August. I respect what you say, but this time we must handle it differently. We are not fighting soldiers, but peasants. I have a man that will take care of it. But if it gets of hand in the city I will personally lead the troops in the front lines.

At the same time was a man walking through the streets of Rome. He is dressed in very common clothes and a hat, with a short sword concealed under a cape. He sees a tavern and goes in to get a drink and some gossip. He goes up to the bar and orders some mead. He then turns to the bartender.

Crazy times we're living in, right? One day we're working the farms, the other day we're soldiers, fighting the Emperor and the Pope. I wonder how this will end.

He sighs and drinks a bit.

so, old man, heard any news?

Cesare looks at the figure before him. He couldn't see who it was, but he granted the request. They walked into the viscount's personal tent, with five knights waiting outside.

So, what is it you want, signore?

The Cloaked entering the light of the tent didn't remove the cloak, yet some was revealed in the flicker light, dark eyes and long dark ringlets. Dark-haired, fierce, the flicker only allowed the face to be glimpsed in the shadows of the cloak. Breathing hard from the expedient journey here and brushing a loop of hair from her eyes, the girl snatched up an bag from the depths of her clothing. Having removed the heavy bag she stepped back a few steps, in courtly distance from the noble and curtsied perfectly.
"Great, Leader of men, Viscount Cesare, Lord Cesare, I am no one known, I have no political or diplomatic pull, nor do I have a name that you'd have heard of to represent me. So I come here with Flroins of worth, as much as I have. With a heavy request and a plea that you'll listen."
She remained silent, not knowing this man she knew it could turn out.. Well she didn't want to think about that.

What is your request? If it is something a mere viscount as myself can do, then let me hear. I do not promise anything, but I promise that I'll listen

Count Otto and his bodyguard Luigi arrive at the city, with their horses left on a nearby stable, they start asking the people what's the current situation, not reveling their identities.

Not moving a inch the figure continued.
"Thank you, My Lord, I know it is not my place... But these people. are just.. people.. Bakers, Tailors, Servants and Cart Riders. They are angry, and I think we all have tried such emotional distress. I'd go as far as to say anger in certain situations is good. I ask.. That before you sound the slaughter to begin, you allow me, to try to get our Emperor out of there."

She shifted the weight between her legs. Speaking with a steady voice.
"I ask this, because IF I succeed. Then No soldiers with young wives at home, need to return on their shield. Rome will appear less empty, and the night won't be filled with the cry from children, alone and hungry. I only set my own life in danger by offering this. I hope, that you'll accept."

I can assure you, I wish for nothing else than for this conflict to end without bloodshed, but I have made an oath to the Emperor to protect him, and I intend to keep that oath.

About your proposition, I know nothing of you and I can therefore not know if you're a reliable asset. What experience do you have with getting in and out of a building?

At that moment came August into the tent. He handed the Viscount a sealed letter. After opening and reading it he handed it back to August. Cesare gave him an order. August then bowed and left the tent.

A group of 5 ships arrive to the port nearest to the city, and begin disembarking men, a few of them. From them, several soldier begin to disembark, and soon a small army begins to form. A group of them, the few with horses, ride to where they've heard Viscount Cesare's army is.

As they arrive to his camp, they ask for a word with him.

She dragged the hood down over her head a little more..
"My Lord, If I can't perform the task I won't be able to get inside in the first place. I am only risking my own life in this... All I ask is that you don't start killing...."
    She trailed off..

The five guards seal the exit.

We are not done talking. You are hiding something, I can feel it. Your life is not the only one at stake here, do not forget the Emperor and the Pope. I will not lay their fate in the hands of a stranger, so you better tell me everything or you're leaving this tent without a beating heart.

The captain of the viscount's bodyguard greets the men that arrive. Upon their question of his lord's whereabouts, he points towards a big tent with Cesare's personal banner hanging high. He asks them to wait outside as the viscount is right now in a meeting.

Finally, after questioning many peasants, the three hooded figures leave the city and reach Viscount Cesare's camp. They get stopped by a guard and asked their identity.

"It does not matter who we are, we need to speak with the Viscount. You are going to lead us to him." Said one of the men.

"You are not being granted an audience until you reveal yourself" said the guard.

One of the figures, growing tired of the exchange, unhooded himself. "I am Viscount Gabriel De Verona, you may know who I am or not. If you do not know my face, does it really matter who I say I am?"

She curtsied again and took a step back involuntarily.
"My Lord, I.. am but a humble citizen of Rome even If I wanted there would be nothing of interest that I could reveal for you, I am here cloaked. Because I live in this city and I do wish to keep doing so after this, as you may understand, If I help the Emperor and the Pope, I may make enemies among the People. And I don't wish for enemies, My Lord."
She looked around at the guards and all the weapons in the room ,suddenly all she wanted to was to get out of there.
"But, you may be right, I knew I had no name, or anything to represent me.. As I told you earlier myself. I only have my plea. Keep the money. This is my mistake, I am sorry, I just could not bear to witness a slaughter like this and know In my heart that I didn't try stopping it. It was a mistake I realize that now. I have learned my lesson, please, let me go."
The figure started to tremble unremarkable.

I may have gone a bit too far, young lady. If you want to help me free the Emperor and the Pope without bloodshed, then you're welcome to do that. But I want you to meet up with my man in the city, Pietro Samoni, and assist him in any way you can.

The guards gets out of the way so the cloaked girl can leave. Cesare smiles and throws back the bag of florins.

And you can keep the money, young lady. All I want to know is your name and that you come visit me some time.

As he said that, he walks out of the tent. There he sees two groups of men.

Welcome, Viscount Gabriel. Excuse my guards, but they are only commoners. Now what can I do for you?

He turns to the other group.

And may I ask for your name?

There is a commotion outside. A clatter of hooves, then a crash, and then the sound of scuffle. A man walks up to the group people, raising his hands and kneeling. He ignores the strange audience, and speaks with rapid speed.
Signore! I wish to speak to you. The matter is of supreme importance, which cannot wait for any niceties or curtsies.

He struggles against the guards as they try to raise and drag him away.

Gabriel looked at the man addressing him, "Me and my brothers are here to help free our Emporer and Pope. We have not found a discreet route in the city, so we were curious as to your plan"

At the mention of his brothers, Michael and Raphael take their hoods off.
