Default Help please. Using mods for medieval 2 kingdoms via steam

I bought recently Medieval 2 via steam since I lost my copy I bought via the gameshop. However, installing and using mods is way different. I already found, and used, the Kingdom launcher add for installing Stainless Steel mod. But It don't launch in widescreen but just in a small thingie.

Please help me, view atatchment for my problem

edit; meaby its good to say I already launched the game without mods before installing them aswell as that It did work fine with Stainless Steel 6.3 however this happens after I installed 6.4 patch!

The mod may have a video setting that forces windowed mode. Check in the CFG file (opens with Notepad) of the mod for the [video] section and copy that section here.

The default.cfg of SS is always set to borderless window. Most probably the resolution is not set to the native one. Go in the game settings and put the right resolution and launch again or put the resolution manually in the cfg file.

Yup, that's what I was suspecting. Best solution is to set the correct screen resolution via options and remove any resolution setting in the CFG file. That way it will be correct for all mods.

Hey thanks for your replies Appreciate it. I unistaled it and reinstalled it (without 6.4 patch) but now it gives me random crashes. Its strange, had this never with the last version

You need the patch 6.4 as it contains many fixes which are essential to run the game crash free.
