I can understand your position as a noble Polish warrior. I have come to speak on behalf an alliance between our two houses...I am directly descended from the Přemyslids Dynasty through my mother. The family has been a long time neighbor to the Duchy of Poland...and I wish to ensure long standing relations between the z Lotrinskes and the Piasts as such as my ancestors.

As a man closing in on his mid-thirties, I am without a wife and heir. I was betrothed long ago to a native noble woman of Bohemia, but sadly, famine struck the area where she lived and she perished at a young age. I have heard you have daughter of twelve years. Though I am greatly her senior, I would care for her as I care for my widowed mother...with great kindness and respect. And for many generations, Poland and Bohemia will be border friends, ready to aid each other at a given moment as brothers and sisters in arms.
