    Default High Elf Mages

    quick question guys, how do I aquire these guys, is it a random event and if so can I increase the chance of it occuring by messing with the mod?

    You need to edit campaign script by finding percent chance line and increase number, but I must also say to you its HUGE file so you will need some patiance and I think you will find mercs under number 8. If you like mages it would be faster to just spawn them using console or alowing their recruitment, of course you are permited to have just 1 unit .

    would this be save game compatible, and is the ordinary chance of aquiring these mages less than it is for special empire warriors (bright wizards for instance) it's just that i'v had several campaigns as the high elves over the different versions of the mod but have never got these guys

    Its script so I think you will need to start over. I have never looked at % chance in this file so I dont know is their spawning rate is higher, same or lower then other mages. This is whay I sugested you spawn 1 unit using console or recruit 1 unit using modified buildings file wich is save game compatible.

    If you really want them, go into the export_descr_unit file and find the unit name and use the create_unit command
