    Default Timurids?

Is there any way to play as the Timurids? I mean as a campaign? Any submods or such?

there should still be one faction slot free, and I think there should be a .txt file in your data somewhere with a list of playable factions, don't know where exactly, but it should be possible. i'll have a quick glance

Its just not possible to play as the Timurids, because they re an emergent faction, i think there was a 1450 submod for SS, that might have Timurids playable, but im not sure.

There is a little trick I discovered, it involves the game's hotseat campaign, a simple cheat, and patience. Here are the steps:

1-Start a hotseat campaign as any faction.
2-Once the game loads and you're on the campaign map type this into the console:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now the game considers the Timurids to be one of the factions under your control.

    3-Type this into the console:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now the faction you first chose (in my case its Venice but this doesn't matter in any way) will be controlled by the AI.

4-Now the screen will go black and you will see the changing faction turns on the top of the screen until the Timurids invade. Simply put, turns are going by and when the Timurids invade you will be controlling the armies that appear.

5-That's all, just be patient until they arrive. I highly recommend using the Late Campaign because it will mean you will wait a significantly less amount of time (100 years) until they arrive.

I hope this helped you, I've used this little trick in order to play as any emergent faction ever since I discovered it, both on vanilla M2TW and on mods. If you have trouble, don't hesitate to ask!

Friends, i type the code "control timurids" then hit Enter button but it doesn't work.

It say: "err: command not recognised..."

or we have to type the second line: "Changed faction <Timurids> to Human control, as well??? If yes, how you jump to second line to type? Using Space button???

I am bad in IT. Please help

But will I be able to fight battles? Not just auto-resolve?

EDIT: Never mind I just tried it and thank you! Holy smokes now that's going to be a year of my time! I'm gonna play something else while I wait for the Timurids though..

Glad to hear that everything worked out fine, the whole auto-resolve only thing is simply activated/deactivated at the faction selection menu. (Wasn't sure if you resolved everything, so I'm just assuring. )

Timurid came in turn 1360+ as I remembered in my campaign.

    Suleiman the Magnificent
I have a question about the money start of Timurid, well you know, a faction starts with massive army consists of several full stacks of elite troops is not really a good idea, look at the Golden Horde, bro. It is a big bankrupt problem
