    Default SPQR & 4tpy - an odessey

    It's an combined "Is there a working 4tpy for SPQR out there?" and "Could someone tell me why mine doesn't work?", so maybe the second part gets obsolete. I know there's some "put it elsewhere" potential but please read on first :wink:

    1)
    I got into testing those 4tpy scripts lately and found it quite adding to the game as a year doesn't pass by so fast and stuff. So I'd like to know if there's a functioning one out there that goes hand-in-hand with SPQR.

    2)
    Wether there's one or not, I've started making one myself (haven't found one by now) and am experiencing some problems. I used Myrddraal's "more turns per year v2" script generator, add added a script call at the end of the descr_strat.txt with the script located in the imperial_campaign folder. It works out so far but as reported >>here<< saving and loading gets disabled. I figured out that the 4tpy is the problem, respectively the call for it. Why that? Whats wrong?

    Just for completing this asking with an answer as this problem is solved:

    1) Generally any 4tpy should work if called as a show_me script, as 2) concluded.

    Topic might be closed or stuff, it's done.

    Its in the SPQR readme posted in this forum. SPQR comes with a 4tpy Script which also has a garrison script in it.

    I know of the garrison script but must have missed the 4tpy part. I'll check it out right away

    Hey Lt just a thought that since you are realeasinga 6.2 if you could maybe do what EB has done with its scripting prompts whenever you click on a city.I believe this way you could impliment the garisson script so that SPQR is played the way it is supossed to be played. Also it makes it easier to use and would encourage non garrison script users to give it a go. It would also cut down on the garrison script q's in the long run.
