    Default How did this happen?

I was Makedon and i was conquering Rebel cities in Anatolia and the Seleucids conquer Nikaia, but it revolts and the province defects to me for some reason and it puts me to war with the Seleucids, who were previously my allies!

Is there any way out of this predicament? How can i force diplomacy a peace?

Also, in the areas above Pella where the Thrakian regionals are present, should i go with Type 1 Government or Type 4(for the regionals)?

There are a lot of regions in EB map that join another faction when rebelling. Bithynia will usually rebel to either Makedonia or Getae. No idea what determines which faction it will go for, though.

By downloading the force diplomacy minimod, and using it.

About those provinces, it's best to build the best level (1-2) government, since most of the Thracian units are in your native unit selection, and you get some of your other native units here too. Only if you want to recruit Triballi and/or Galatian units here, should you build a level 4 government.
