There will be no open Beta, just 5.0. The closed beta isn't even out yet. If you are asking to be a Beta tester, PM Mitch and give him a darn good reason why you should be a tester.

We are currently building a Beta. I've mentioned as such in the Youtube comments of my TGW videos, I assume that is where people asking about "the Beta" have come from.

When our Beta version is ready it will be tested in-house and will not be released to the public. I have already created my list of Beta testers, half of whom have not even been notified that we wish for them to participate yet, they'll be invited in due time.

I get numerous PM's daily from people asking to be a tester, but what people sadly have to understand is that if we just give everyone the Beta, it won't be a Beta, it would just be a release lol..

I disagree some games let millions of players beta test its not about your privacy with your mod i would give out many beta testing clients as possible just like Darth Mod and several other succesful mod teams and mods do .

That's true, but very few of the beta testers actually give feedback. With a closed beta, you get reliable feedback from people that you trust

Its a shame others have to somewhat suffer due to other beta testers ruining it for everyone else i wish you luck with the closed beta phase of the mod.

Haha well thank you for agreeing, but I'm merely vocalizing my past personal exploits in the "Closed Beta" Gaming world

I would like a beta just for the models.

However, I respect your judgement in these in matters like this and will wait for a release if I have too.

Sadly that's the reason we made the list of tester we did. Most people who want to beta test for you actually just want to play the mod early. lol

Oh and just as a side note, we will be doing something shortly where a TGW fan can win Beta access by proving he is worthy, more on that soon!

Well actually I wanted to port the models to shogun 2 fots, but Id like to play it early too.

That would defiantly not happen. Intellectual property laws and all. Though I have always wanted to sue someone.

Oh please don't sue me, I only but a curious person.Most of the other models are probably not possible, but the tanks may be portable. I would of course ask your permission to aviod being sued.

Anyways, I may try a shot at that chance to prove myself worthy. However I'm afraid I just proved the opposite.
