Auxiliary Characters
These are characters you can play from time to time for a more in-depth and creative RP, they may not collect income, be appointed to leadership positions, hold non-duplicate offices, help main characters do anything to unduly advance, or in any way threaten a main character - they are solely for RP purposes. Auxiliary characters will be subject to the same rules and death rolls as main characters, although they may become main characters if your main character dies without any heirs or protégées. Main auxiliary characters have to be registered here. However, auxiliary characters for the purpose of short duration role-plays need not be registered. You can have a maximum of only 2 auxes at any given point of time.

Killing Auxiliary Characters
You can kill your auxiliary characters any time you wish. But you must have a good reason to kill it as you would with main characters. Also, the odds of attempts to finish your aux get doubled. But of course, the killing of an aux will be treated as the killing of a main character.

Raphael- 27, Younger Brother to Gabriel and Michael. He is just as tall as Gabriel but slightly slimmer. He tries to be the diplomatic brother, but keeps his bastard sword on his back at all times. His blond hair near dark enough to be thought brown, and his slate blue eyes make him slightly intimidating though he is the calm Grimark.

Michael- 34, Twin brother of Gabriel. Not many outside his family and closest friends can distinguish the two, unless he is carrying his hammer, since in battle attire the only difference between the two is Michaels hammer and Gabriels Ax and bow.

A stern looking man, and Andrea Doria's most loyal servant. He's always there to aid his master and serve as his messenger for important tasks. He's a middle sized man, with thick shoulders, and wears a thick black mustache.

Origin: Italian

Appearance: Pietro is an old man, yet he has sharp brown eyes and an excellent physique. He has short, black hair that is graying on the sides. He has a perfectly shaped mustache, following the lines of his upper lip.

Background: Pietro is an old sevant and bodyguard of the Vittelo family. When Cesare's parents were murdered, Pietro loyally followed the young man, guiding him on the right path to power. He has taught Cesare everything he knows in mathematics, geography, military strategy, literature, art and dueling. He has sworn to protect the Vittelo family at all costs, even his life.

Background: Son of the Otto's father bodyguard he soon followed his fathers steps, being now Otto's bodyguard but also a good friend, one of the most trusted persons of Otto.

Background : The Duke of Mainz and grandfather to Violette and Phillipe Bles, who after the attack on their family's castle to try and curb Duke Lucian's power ending in his death, his wife(Heinrich's daughter), and several dozen others with Count Oswald, at that point heir to Mainz taking the two children to his father's castle for their protection along with a retinue of Valais and Mainz knights who survived the attack. Although Oswald would die in a freak accident two years later when his horse suddenly reared up on him, so now besides his third son who is a sellsword somewhere, the two children are his only heirs.

Appearance: August is a man of average height with an average physique. He has clear-blue eyes and long, blond hair. He has a clean-cut face with a scar over his mouth.

Background: Nothing much is known about August's past. He came to Cesare of Spoleto to serve as his adviser. He showed good military skill and was made a general of the Army of Spoleto, the Viscount's second-in-command on all military matters.

She is a relative of Basil II, inheriting a branch of Basil I's bloodline.

She was born in AD 970, a daughter of one of Basil II's cousins, and was married off to a Varangian mercenary warlord by the name of Harald "Ischyros" who had earned Basil's favor, at the young age of 12.
She gave birth to her son Canute Haraldsson a year later, who was raised by his father until he was 11.
She then raised him in the Byzantine court until he was 17.

Euphemia has lived her whole life in Constantinopolis, spending her time with the arts and staying out of the intrigue of the courts, close enough to the Emperor to live without a care but distant enough to be insignificant. She has become very eloquent over the years, and loves to patronize the artists of the Roman Empire, extravagantly decorating her personal estate.

She has recently received word from her son in Italy that he wishes for her to travel to him next year.

Bio:
Born in Norway under the name Harald Sigurdsson, Justinianus was shipped off to Constantinople with his family when his father joined the Varangian guard. His father, Sigurd, saved the Emperor and many of his advisors lives when halting an assassination scheme, and thus he was rewarded with gold of course, and the opportunity for his son to be educated in the proper Roman way. With justinian's mother having died from the flu, Sigurd accepted, and he was given the name Justianianus Claudius, and given the education of a high ranking roman. He was taught politics, how to fight, and how to speak Greek, Latin and German by his tutors, and taught to speak Norse by his Father when he was off duty. Having taken up residence in Italy to help fight the Muslims, Justinian is still prone to bouts of Norse savagery during battle, and is renowned as a hard, ruthless, and savage enemy in battle.
