It bugged me loads how swords were always drawn on the march or when you were miles from the enemy. It would be more realistic to have your men draw there swords when they are about to engage the enemy and put them away when they do not need them, dont you think?
Another thing that bugged me in Rome was how stupid the pikes looked in the hands of the soldiers. They looked like they were weilding something as light as a feather. This time round they need to portray the physical difficulty involved with weilding the 24ft pike.
About command...
Officers of all units should be more active in their role as commanders.
The general gives the command and then the leader of the unit repeats the command to the unit he commands.
Not only that but we should hear random commands/encouregments from unit officers such as "hold the line" or "enemy approaching our flank" ect.
