I found this in descr_campaign_ai.xml. It looks like the thing that basically ruins the game, and it seems to be something hardcoded:
I thought this would have been a bigger issue, but could only find one thread on it on the whole internet. Are there any AI modders here who found a workaround for this? It seems to be commented out already, so it's not like we could delete it or anything. It's like they're just telling us something is there but not letting us touch it (hardcoded, I suppose).Code:<!-- <decision_entry> SPECIAL CASE EXISTS HERE IN CODE FOR FORCING ATTACK ON HUMAN IF AT PEACE WITH EVERYONE FOR TOO LONG (hard = 4 turns, normal = 10 turns, easy = 20 turns) </decision_entry> -->
Having said that... I'm sure on my recent game as England (Moderate difficulty) the bordering Scots weren't at war with anyone for well over 10 turns and still didn't attack me either. So maybe it isn't true...?
Does anyone know anything about this?
