    Default UK Cabinet Reshuffle.

In the coalitions reshuffle we get...not much important changing, but we do get this bit of massive irony:

Yes, we now have a racist, homophobic little englander as our minister for equality. Now the question, how much damage can she do? How far up in flames will the Lib-Dems go?

All of this bleating and hyperbole over a government that is moving to legalise gay marriage. Yawn.

it's moving to make it a free vote (to keep the Lib Dems happy) no chance of it passing if the nasty party can vote their hatreds.

it's either against or abstain..don't see how that makes the poster untrue at all.

Agreed. At least Jeremy Hunt has been removed as Culture Secretary, I'm seriously surprised he was able to hold on to the post after his shenanigans with Murdoch.

Is it too much to ask for an OP about the actual thread topic rather than an ideological rant?

I support gay marriage. People are entitled to think otherwise on the issue.
Same goes on all the other topics listed. On moral issues more than everything else, people have the right to disagree. So, yea, don't turn liberalism into nazism please.

I was expecting a good article and all I got was an ideological rant against a political enemy. I want my money back.

She studied at LSE though. Nice school. Proper meritocracy, not like St.Oxbridgeham.

Oh my God, my retarded lesbian cousin put this on Facebook. So ing moronic, you should be ashamed of yourself justicar. They did the same thing when May was appointed, and she personally ran the election campaigns of the first openly lesbian Conservative candidates, ever.

That picture is totally manipulative. Here you can see what she has actually voted for in terms of gay rights:

I see that the OP has opted to go for an un-sourced attack on Maria Miller as opposed to actually instigating an intelligent discussion of the cabinet reshuffle.
So here is a decent source.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-19472688
    List of changes
    Jeremy Hunt to Health Secretary
    Patrick McLoughlin to Transport Secretary
    Andrew Mitchell to Chief Whip
Andrew Lansley to leader of the House of Commons
Justine Greening to International Development Secretary
    Owen Paterson to Environment Secretary
Ken Clarke to Minister without Portfolio
Baroness Warsi to Foreign Office minister
Damian Green to police minister. Mark Harper to immigration minister
Mark Hoban to employment minister. Michael Fallon to business minister
Mark Prisk to housing minister. Lib Dem Norman Lamb to care services minister
Jeremy Hunt is an interesting choice for Health Secretary. In 2007 he signed an early day motion supporting homeopathic medicine in NHS hospitals (http://www.parliament.uk/business/pu...edmnumber=1240. Homeopathy is widely considered by members of the medical profession and scientists to be utterly bollocks.
In 2008 he voted for the reduction of the abortion limit from 24 weeks to 12 weeks, this was largely against medical consensus.

On the subject of Hunt, he also accused Liverpool fans of fighting during the Hillsborough Disaster (they didn't, just to be clear), he also was involved in some tax avoidance, after Cameron had said he wouldn't associate with anyone who did, and ofc there was his (mildly) dodgy expenses (2005-2007) but that looks more like cock up than conspiracy.

Also moving Clarke away from justice: is Cameron throwing the right wing of his party a bone? Or is Clarke being moved to an advisory role for Osbourne (having himself previously been Chancellor, in the Major government)?

I hate Conservative ideology. Said it clearly, now if the politician could just come out and say what they hate just as clearly, they would at least be worthy opponents.

me personally? I don't flatter myself. The communities they keep trying to force back down? Well then that's another matter, they could at least be honest.

I really find 3rd world politics fascinating.
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

If they didn't get rid of George Osborne, it was a waste of time.
