    Default Graphic cards brands?

Hi guys. I dont know if this kind of topic already existed so I wanted to know opinions on different brands of graphic cards. Can we say there is a superior brand (considering both reference and non reference cards) when it comes to overall quality in graphics cards? If so can we create an order from the best brand to the worst brand? Sometimes I always say people claiming one brand to be superior to others but could we have a more profound discussion, pls? I always heard good reviews about asus, msi, evga but are they really superior than others (zotac, gigabyte, zogis, etc) in terms of overall quality?

It depends on the card and the cooler and the individual model. You're better off finding the card you want first, then asking.

correct all brands have strengths and weakness for example

    Sapphire is AMD's premiere partner
    EVGA is NVIDIA's premiere partner

MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, etc play both sides

Palit and Gainward i believe (memory is a bit rusty) are the same company
    PNY is NVIDIA's quadro partner
XFX used to be a very good company but they changed their warranty terms making them nothing more than average

warranty and customer support are what you should be worried about as every brand has hits or misses its that simple, so if something goes wrong you want the best support possible.

Thanks for answering guys. I know my post was kind of vague specially including such a broad topic like graphics cards. So I can pretty much assume that in terms of overall quality they are all equivalent. In terms of performance I imagine the possibility for discussion would be endless.

Well some have less quality than others, but what you really want to look out for is stuff like rebates and warranties. In terms of hardware they have similar failure rates, but for instance Zotac can be more difficult to get rebates, XNA can really screw you over with warranties and RMAs, and EVGA has given me a hard time with replacing busted cards with those of equal performance.
