    my work speed ll get down more.cos i ve began to my second job.so for modding i ll ve very limited time.

    but even slow i ll try to finish the arabs.

    this archer unit nearly ready.i just wait someone fix my bow-arrow joint problem.

    Will this mod contain units models of "Khulfayee Rashideen"(Rashidun Caliphs) as Arab Faction Leaders???

    yes.

    first infantries then cavallaries.then officer,captain,general,caliph

    Well I've been carefully following this topic over last few weeks and I thought should just stop in to say I'm stunned at the progress taking place!

    there are 2 news from me.1 good 1 bad.

    good one i finished 2 arabic units.ansar warriors and ansar archers.i ve give the link of them to dear caudillo87 plus to some guys in twc.i thought it could be usefull for them cos i used some new modelling and texturing techniques.

    bad one as i mentioned couple of post before that i work in 2 jobs in real life and it made me phisically and mentally exhausted.i ve no time,no energy,no wish for finishing the arabian army.i ve done this several times.i mean i abandoned many modding projects.even my own dream project wars of the religions.but its happening out of my control.i love modelling.and in my free time as freelancer with autodesk maya-zbrush combo i ll countinue for pro modelling projects.i say i am really sorry and forgive me.especially caudillo87.i abondoned him several times.i am sure that caudillo87 ll make the arabs better than me.also it seems there is no much work on this mod.its already matured mod.

    one of my most anticipated mods. Great looking persian units. Sadly this is probably maybe one of the first mods depicting this region with so much detail. Excellent work till now.

    here is my third arabian unit.he is arabian heavy guardsman.he is a heavy swordsman.i should do also a spearman version i believe.

    its one of the 3 versions.

    the roman/byzantine units for this game looks very similar to the roman units from the 4/5th century.

    The great changes and reforms -when it comes to equipment- were made AFTER the Arabic expansion for two reasons:
    Finansial (lost of Egypt and its grain)
    Technical because Arabs used entirely different battle tactics from Sassanids.
    After 710 it was the age of multi role units for romans and the decline of the super heavy troops untill late 9th century when Macedonian Dynasty put them in use once again.
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    No, due to the fact that there is no longer any mention of that unit by my primary resource, Theophanes. I believe by this time all units were simply known as "Stratiotoi" but if there is any primary proof of this unit still remaining distinctively named as such then I will consider it.
