Most units do have their meshes, sprites and textures. But are missing attachmentsets - or normals.

When using the ordinary texture as a normal_texture they became somewhat too light - but in the shadows they looked rather well. I'd guess we'd need to create the normal textures for some of the units, becausse they do work - but are too shiny.

I understand, but it doesn't really matter that those units aren't working - alot of the others are! My favorite so far is the super cool Akontistai with upgrade for the Heraclian era.

I had to replace entries in the EDB as there were wrong lines of text there, and i've had to in some cases add units to the EDU or fix faulty folder-names that made the units CTD when trying to enter battle.

Some of the units are really cool. Seems you guys did a great amount of work on the units. The weird thing is there were no units in the EoA-mod coming with the code for that one - EoA was completely empty of units. But i am glad there was alot of content in the main EoR-mod though. This means one could re-add units into the EoA-campaign by taking them from the EoR-files.

I restored the upgraded Akontistai by using the attachmentsets of the earlier version. They also had a faulty letter in their folder-name. Really cool quivers for the javelins. When they are emptied the javelins are no longer there. That's impressive.

Yes, and the good news are the absolute majority of the Heraclean-era troops did work, and they look great. But they are in the wrong mod currently (East of Rome: Main Campaign) and need to be moved to End of Antiquity possibly.

    Heraclean Era-roster (some of them):

My goodness. They are gorgeous. In your video earlier I saw that the Lakhamids had a fair amount of units in their custom battle area. Did any of those function?

No, those were in the End of Antiquity-files. And that mod had no units in the model-folder.

The ones previewed here were in the Main-EoR mod. I have both. I will look into the other factions but the BMDB-file is huge.

All of them, but not everyone may have their units - that's what i want to find out, wich ones who have their units in a working state and not.

Here is the full available Heraclean-era Roman unit roster:

This is the full remnants of the Heraclean-era ROMAN-roster about to be used in the unreleased End of Antiquity-mod. They were inside of the main-EoR (East of Rome) files. I have re-added them, and fixed them in the files so that they are playable in the main-mod currently in custom battles.

This video was made to show the units, and at first i wanted to show you all a bettle but my computer can't handle huge battles without epic lagg - so i choose to cut the entire battle. My gaming-computer broke down december the eleventh and i need to get a new one - but have been too lazy as i have still been able to modify the game on my laptop. But it causes problems when wanting to preview epic battles.

Anyway, i will upload more pictures and videos when more factions are restored.

Thanks m8 . I just saw that the Notitia-ERA units aren't in the EDU at all. The question is if they are in the BMDB.

Thanks man, - i will at least make the basic work on all the campaigns by restoring the units.

Then we'll see what happens, but the Justinian era has the least interesting units, based on what i've seen from Maurikian, Justinian and Heraclian-eras. There is still a possibility the Thematic and Notitia will be even more bad-ass but i don't know. The Justinian ERA has the most interesting campaign though, as the Maurikian one is small in size - and the Heraclian needs to be worked on alot.

Unfortunately i can't seem to find any of your units, wich is a shame really as those were on equal level in quality with the Heraclian-Romans - i am gonna look into everything though.

Are this claudillo´s lost unit´s from his former mod, before he joined team with EOR and later lost all his work by accident?
    this would be amazing news!

They may very well be. I do hope to find more high quality troops among the low-quality ones.
