Oh my god, these are just wonderful. I can 't wait to play this as this period of the Romano-Sassanid Wars was just so intense.

Hi all, hope you guys are enjoying the new year as for me I have decided on updating the entire Roman roster again because I am not satisfied with the uniformity present in their current design. Please bear with me as I throw out the trash and create something better and more realistic to the tone of the 7th century. Of course this will stall production but as an artist I must have perfection to be worthy of the praise given to me by my follow modders and fans. Thank you and will be back with more updates.

1st thing you must do is change their helmets.

    Infantry helmet

    Cavalry helmet

Having those two as basis you can make varietions of them.
Absinthia's armory has such helmets for his Britons.
    Ask him more details.

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Actually, those helmets fit the (very) late 3rd, 4th and 5th century better. For the 6th, 7th and 8th century I'd say, go for spangenhelmets.

Well, I'm sure at this time they used what ever was in stock, I appreciate the advice I think the hardest part will be redesigning their bodies. The types of tunics they wore, the kinds of armor. The only units I will change will be the line infantry, all cavalry, and the excubitores. I hope the third generation units turn out better.

Actually helmets changed to simplier after the loss of Syria by Arabs.
But you can have helmet that never stoped to use.
    Casis.
Its the helmet that our general uses in the pic:

Casis was used from 2nd century up to 1204 atleast.
From 5th century casis helmets were decorated with crests for officers of generals.

Is there any mapper in your mod team? If it isn't I would like to join to the team as a mapper if you want?

PS: I can do 2D art too

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

That's a re-enactor from the Fectio re-enactment group doing 4th and 5th century Romans and he's wearing a (bad) replica of the Deurne helmet which is dated around 320 AD.

For early Byzantine you're better off with this even though it's a little bit before your mod's time frame (around 530 AD):

A cassis you mean? To my knowledge that wasn't a specific type of model but rather a generic Latin term for 'helmet'.
