...well, mysterious to me, anyway, who am still learning about all this.

So... it's a trigger for getting a Chivalrous knight. But what's all this about a Jihad? Does it mean Muslim generals get this anc? (and does 'CrusadeTarget' also refer to Jihad targets therefore?) Seems a strange name for an anc for a Muslim general to get, though.

Or does it mean when a Christian crusade is successful while a simultaneous jihad is taking place? Or... what?

GeneralTakesCrusadeTarget refers to both crusades and jihads. IsJihad limits it to just jihads. So combined it means "general takes a jihad target".

There are quite a few "Crusade" events and they all (?) export "crusade" which in turn can be used with IsCrusade and IsJihad if you wish to limit the monitor/trigger to one type.
