Disc 2 not installing

Hi,

I have the retail box version. I had to manually start the install for disc 1 as AutoPlay was not working Disc 1 installed okay. When asked to switch to disc 2 I did, but nothing happened when I clicked 'OK'. I have since got it working via a Microsoft program called "AutoPlay Repair Wizard".

While I was messing around trying to get disc 2 to install I noticed steam was downloading an update for the game and was at 35%.

After a fair bit of forum reading I'm confused. It took 1 1/2 hours to install disc 1 and I'm reluctant to start all over.

Does anyone know if there is some way to continue installing from disc 2 rather start all over with disc 1?

I've asked for support from Sega but no reply yet.

You have a total of 26gb to download and update whether the disc works or not. You have no choice unless you want to abort the install and use the discs or frisbees playing with the dog in the backyard.
