anybody else hate that skinny guy from the live action trailer?

I dunno he just looks like one of those typical mother's basement nerds... I am not sure who he is suppose to be but my god... I have never seen an actor so out of place. all the other actors look great and fit the part but this skinny kid... not so much...

guess its too late to have him replaced but i know that I personally would be skipping any cut scenes with him in it.

I think, he is just supposed to portray a manipulative, intrigant Roman politician...and for that I think he fits quite well.

he looks like he is 15 years old... how is he even suppose to be a politician when he is that young?
too skinny, too white and that smug face just makes me rage for some reason...

never said that but maybe an old dude in his 40s or 50s would be much more suited for a politician role than a skinny 15 year old. I think the kid was somebody's son and he was somehow placed in the cast because of that. its the only logical explanation to all this.

Skinny guys did exist in Roman times, they weren`t all big butch blokes.

Assuming I am thinking of the same person you are thinking of (The one who raises his eyebrow when presented with the other's ring?), he doesn't seem too far out of place. There were pampered, wimpy, self-absorbed leaders in the Roman world.

From my perspective he passes as one of those individuals.

Nonetheless, he is an actor in the trailer, not a main character in-game. Shouldn't be a very big deal.

Theyre just playing off of stereo types of the calculating wormry autocrat like guy, youll notice alot of villains in games cartoon movies etc have a similar look.

do we really know how the romans really looked like (or anyone for that matter) in those times? but going with pop culture regarding rome they dont look like that. IDK i always though of politicians as the old guys all in white robes. imagine it like this, will you have watched Lord of The Rings if Aragorn was played by Nicolas Cage? i doubt it. its the same for this kid, he just doesnt fit imo but wtv.

I wonder what all these characters would play in the game? something like red alert perhaps?

Yes we do. There's a countless number of busts, statues, reliefs and coins created in a realistic style. It's even possible to reconstruct the original color, like in this case (head of Caligula):
