102 man unit not 203?! help..

Hey guys, so iv had RSII for a while now and even for RSI I noticed that I dont get the 203 man units unless I'm in a custom battle. Ive changed unit size to huge and nothings happened, anyhelp is greatly appreciated!

How did you change the unit size?

There is a different preferences.txt for each type of campaign.

It may be that you've changed the wrong one or because of the way you installed the game (or your folder options) the changes don't stick.

If you change the unit size in an existing campaign you should be able to recruit new units at the changed size.

As you've not posted any technical information on your install it's just a stab in the dark...

Im playing the roman campaign, I have steam and installed it the way it says too for a steam installation. I've changed the unit sizes ingame and they only increase to 102 soldiers per chort. I changed it by choosing video options unit sizes huge, but it didnt really help.

You probably started your campaign with unit size at normal. You can't change the unit size for a campaign after you've started it. In order for the unit size change to take place you need to start another campaign.

I've been told that you can continue the campaign and new units will be recruited in the new unit size.

Personally, I've never changed the unit size mid-campaign.
