    Default Importance of campaign map

Im wondering what direction the campaign map will take. I've spoken a lot about battlefield animations and graphics. The campaign map was cartoony in Rome, kinda of a gritty realism in medieval 2. In empire the map completely went straight bright and animated and cartoony, I enjoyed the life to the map but it was difficult to tell landmark and where you countrie lines were (at least for me). Then we get shogun, same cartoon like map, easier to navigate and it just worked in shoguns theme. Rise Of the samurai was shoguns map but a little more realistic, then fall of the samurai came around and the map went to straight up realism. I'm wondering what type of map will come in Rome 2, will it be the cartoonyness of the past, or this new realism we see in fots. I prefer the latter, but I am biased I prefer realism to a stylized game. But I also prefer life, and that brings me to my point. I liked the map in fots, and despite its shortcomings empires map was full of life and color. In Rome 2 I would much rather see a complete mix of the two, something like rots but a bit more like fots. What do you think?
O and the games I stated are the only ones I've played, besides times and medievals expansions and the all had the same map. I have not played medieval, shogun or Napoleon yet.
