Default AI enemy ships on defence need to back eachother up in FOTS.

While the enemy AI ships are slightly better, they still don`t WORK TOGETHER like the BAI does.

For instance, in my end game, with maxed out weaponery, I can still use the technique of going far wide and creeping in, attracting one enemy ship at a time and killing it in full view of enemy ships that don`t react because they don`t `detect` me.

I`ve killed 8+ powerful ships this way. His Kotetsus and escourts might be dangerous, but not when only one attack at a time!

On defence, enemy AI ships need to `communicate` like BAI troops will when one part detects you. Only ships totally out of sight of anything should not react.

If one enemy AI ship in a defence line turns to attack me, most or all enemy ships in viewing range should join in.

    Simple.

Really? In my experience every single ship usually starts moving right away. Or maybe that's because my Kotetsu is shooting them.
Not like that's a bad thing, they always rush towards the ironclad and get blasted by my line of ships lining up next to it.

This is if the ships are on defence, waiting for you. You are probably rushing at them.

If you do exactly as I`ve written, you will be able to knock ships out one at a time so you win with a tiny number of ships most times. One good ship or an Ironclad can be enough, although use two or 3 to be safe. That will be enough to defeat any number with my tactic.
