Problem - Unable to use launcher to edit preferences

Hi, I need help! please

In the launcher when i try to open preferences it says taht is unable to open what to do?

And in important stuff ( AI formations) I realy want to know wich are the best alternate formations because the AI is to dumb in the battle

Go to your install directory. Go to the folder called data, and the sub folder called Preferences. Copy and paste that folder into the Rome Total War folder.

Alternatively, you can just open the "preferences.txt" in your data/preferences folder and change values to true or false according to what you want.

The preferences.txt file will only be present once you've actually launched the campaign you have selected.

We do suggest that you install RSII on a working copy of R:TW. If you've done that then there will be a preferences.txt in the game folder. Also that will be copied into the faction specific folder when you try to start that campaign.
