    Wait a minute, you’ve been rolling in the manure again, what have I told you about that, you can pick up all sorts of nasties, you know, flimsy plots, two dimensional characters and flawed narrative

    Just a quick reminder to Rex and ybbon: the theme is Shankbot's picture. You guys can agree between yourselves to make the theme more specific or (by agreement or otherwise) leave it at that and write your piece - as long as it relates somehow to the pic.

    The deadline for sending to me will be the 27th - next Friday.

    I'm happy to go ahead and just write the piece - thanks for the clarification

    Ok, we agreed to a 300 word minimum, no maximum, any style and no theme just related to the picture somehow.

    OK?

    Rex, I was busy yesterday trying to get an audience with the Pope, and luckily, I was able to schmooze a meeting - on a Sunday too! I discovered in the fine print, that the loser has their soul sold to the Devil. Well I thought it unfair, given you probably just missed that - age and infirmity I guess - so I was trying my best to get you some kind of dispensation. I tried bribery, shouting, and even some praying but it was all to no avail. It's there in black and white apparently, loser sold to the Devil. Sorry, I did try my best, but I guess you're off to Hades after this - of course, he may not claim immediately? If I'd known the risk to you I would have been more careful, who knew, nasty little clause. Never mind, perhaps it's not as bad as all that? Be sure to drop by and tell us anyway won't you.

    Is it possible for your soul to be sold twice Muwahaha....

    Doesn't worry me too much, all the good guys may get the wings, but the bad guys get the entertainment

    Besides I'm sure when I looked at the small print, it only applied if you believed in a deity....I shall say no more, less I offend your sensibilities...

    Even if you practised Judaism Monday, Hinduism Tuesday, Islam Wednesday, Shintoism Friday, Shamanism Saturday and Catholicism Sunday it would be of no help whatsoever saying a prayer on each day to each deity.

    Who said Hell is entertaining? You get trained as a corporate accountant and get sent to work at IBM! It's no laughing matter. Angels get wings because flying drunk is more fun and they can dive bomb the IBM accountants.

    Incidentally, how are you getting on with crayons those nice doctors let you use?

    1. I'm about as likely to say a prayer as you have a prayer of winning;

    2. Your vision of Hell is interesting, even if it does exist, I doubt Angels will be allowed to drink; and have you ever partied with an accountant? I had a trip with mates to Las Vegas (no lie) including a couple of money magnets, those guys can party, and it made your average stag weekend looked like a scout’s jamboree;

    3. As for the crayons, well, I can honestly say I haven't seen one in a while; it seems that the last in-patient used them all up; apparently he had this fixation with water buffaloes;

    4. Sitting on the toilet, I was reminded how all your hopes and dreams would soon be flushed away, while I would be flushed with success.

    5. What happened to Thursday by the way, do I get a day off?

    So who thinks I should add pictures to my Gaiisha thread that links to the different TOTW stories? FYI, I will probably go to the graphics workshop to get someone to make these buttons for me because I am a terrible artist.

    PS: You know you want to click the muffin button.

    How can you miss it? I issued a challenge and everyone retreated as you cannot take awesomeness.

    However, I challenge you, Sir. Draw you Quill!
