    Hi Tina Russel!
Try adding "-nm" and "-show_err" without quotations after the .exe path

Tried, same result :/ I wish I knew how to make this work...
("RomeTW-ALX.exe -nm -show_err" does work, but of course that just loads Alexander)

Good job with the mod! After playing RTR 6.0 a good bit back in '06 I felt a calling to come back and do some slaughtering on a familiar nostalgic mod, this time as Sarmatia. Gameplay has been excellent so far, I was little concerned I couldn't build ships but then I noticed it's just that none of the starting or nearby rebel coastal settlements have timber. I was planning to do RSIII most likely but if it keeps being this fun I might play Sarmatia all the way to VH/VH grand campaign victory. And it might not even take that long.

Sorry for being so late with the reply, I overlooked your posting here!
Try placing the quotation marks right at the exe so you end up with (...RomeTW-ALX.exe" -nm -show_err) instead of ("RomeTW-ALX.exe -nm -show_err")
Let me know if that fixed the issue!

Hi Eregos! Glad to hear you're having fun! I suggest also trying out the other RTR iterations

    Greetings raubak!
The development of RTR 6 ended years ago, sadly. We have not planned on returning to developing the old RTR versions, at least not for the foreseeable future. But fret not, RTW Alexander is very cheap, especially on Steam, where you can get it for like around $2 every couple of months

i would not say one is better than the other, it's down to individual preference, BI gives you better AI than rtw, shieldwall(for some units), hording, swimming units and better camera manoevre. ALX gives you a slightly better AI than BI, improved phalanx co-ordination, Naval invasions(although rare) and iirc an AI that replenishes units.

Specialty naval invasions in BI is most valuable thing i was testing a lot and AI use naval so well!

My error to not mention naval invasions in BI I generally alter the data files to encourage naval attacks, especially in the case of Carthage as they rarely invade Iberia by sea, this seems to encourage them to make more effort to conquer and not give Iberia an "easy" time

Hi all, I had to uninstall Rome temporarily because of space issues. I come to re-install, the vanilla games work but this mod won't launch. I get the BI opening screen (NOT the Alex screen) and it hangs. Everything seems to be where it should be, anyone got any suggestions?

All is now well. On closer examination the install was creating an rtpe folder with files missing in the right place and plonking the real folder elsewhere. Very odd, i must have installed this mod on half a dozen builds in the last four or five years and this is the first time anything this daft has happened. Terrific mod, the one I always come back to, nevermind the stupidities that are a legacy of vanilla.

    Hello!
FileFront - dead link, no file
    Deposit - very slow speed
https://www.moddb.com/downloads/rtr-...m-edition-v20/ - working link, high speed

Does anyone else have these problems to follow? My RTRPE is version 2.0, I use the 4 turns for year submods and the City Growth correction, it crashes frequently and in the part of the speeches for positioning, sometimes there is a bug in the camera and it enters the floor and the game crashes. Does anybody know how to solve this?
