Default Looking to Build a New PC

Alright, popped over here to get some advice on building a PC and decided to use the Bulonsky (sp?) system someone else mentioned.

    Why are you upgrading?
Want to be able to play newer games, Gaming Rig

Where does your old one fail?
Graphics card can't play newer games and the CPU doesn't have enough speed.

    What is your budget?
    Probably around $1000 CAD

    Where do you live?
    NS, CA

Can you build this computer yourself, or do you need to buy prebuilt?
I'll build it myself using the twcenter guide

What are you current system specs?
    Laptop
    CPU 2.0GHz AMD fusion E-350
    Graphics Raedon mobile hd 6310
    Motherboard Unknown, prebuilt laptop.
    Memory 3GB, again unknown
    HDD 250GB 7,200rpm
    OS 7 Home Premium

What screen resolution will you be using?
Whatever it does (honestly don't know much about resolution

What websites/stores can you purchase parts from?
Newegg and Tigerdirect would be my main sources, but any place else within Canada or that doesn't charge to much for shipping to Canada.

Do you need to purchase peripherals?
If you mean mouse and such, no.
    Moniter, no
    speakers, no

When do you plan to buy this computer/parts?
Depending on how work and such goes, whenever I gather up enough money. Hopefully before the end of this year but my best advice might be to wait and ask again later because I figure the earliest time to get it would be after Christmas and I don't need it until Christmas 2013 (Rome 2)

Yeah if you're just trying to get a ballpark estimate, shoot for $1000 or so, that's generally bang for buck area. And then just wait, prices are only gonna come down on older parts, and newer parts are only gonna be more efficient. The longer that you put it off, the better performance you will likely get with Rome II.
