Default Units from Shogun2 in Fall of the Samurai

    Hi total war friends,

can somebody please tell me if the extra Units from "Saints and Heroes Unit Pack" or Sengoku Jidai Unit Pack are also playable in Fall of the samurai.

I own Shogun 2 and bought Fall of the samurai a few hours ago (still downloading). And now i wonder if it makes sense to bought these two unit addons also. Because i just want to play the new campaign (fall of the samurai).

And what is also with the 16 new units from the "rise of the samurai campaign" are they playable in the original campaign or the fall of the samurai campaign.

I don´t want to spend money for units that did not even appear in the new campaign.

Thanks for your answers. Sorry for bad english.

Unit DLCs unlock units in their respective eras. Som Sengoku Jidai + Saints & Heroes pack are only playable in Shogun 2's main campaign.
Rise of the Samurai units are in the Rise of the Samurai campaign, no exceptions.

If it was legal to move units from one campaign into another, I would've released a mod already.

I believe that units from Shogun 2 can be use in ROTS as ROTS needs Shogun 2 to work. However units from ROTS cannot be move to Shogun 2.

Shogun 2 + ROTS units certainly cannot be use in FOTS and vice versa.

Well you can actually on your own if you own everything. You just can't release it to the public.

Of course. That goes without saying. You can even put ETW unit to Shogun 2 if you know how to.

Yeah, and that was only the ROTS units to the S2 campaign one.

Right now I play FOTS with ROTS and S2 units.
