Some Help

Please respond, as in other places I have not only been ignored, but insulted. Now, I have Rome:Total War + Two Expansions.

I however tried this mod, and it crashes to the desktop upon a custom battle, starting a campaign, Etc. Yes, I am a Linux user-But the game works perfectly, so do other mods-Not a linux issue. Now, I install the Mod to the Program Files-Rome TW Folder, afterwards the mod starts up perfectly until I try to do something.

I have Gold Edition, and yes I do use a crack-But a crack.exe does not mean it will never work, it is possible, aye? (Broken disc). Even if this is a problem, help me with the other bit at least.

RTW is at 1.3. I know it's usually supposed to be 1.5 once Barbarian and Alexander are installed, butt??? I have LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR A 1.5 GOLD EDITION PATCH, AND HAVE FOUND NOTHING. INCOMPATIBLE. INCOMPATIBLE. INCOMPATIBLE.

After obtaining this, which was expensive at the time and finally remembering, I would like to use the best mod around. I know it must be not the crack, but the Gold Edition-As I've tried my CD-Can't install from it no more, Girr--But it seems to work enough to simply start RTW-Weird, but hey-Transfer Error-Gotta hate it.

Anyway's, Please provide a link to a patch-Or BE patch-as I tried a 1.6 patch with it and it said incompatible. God, I hate Gold Edition.

You should expect insults if you use a crack for a $5 game. I don't know about others, but I don't like software pirates.

I predict that if you buy a legitimate copy you won't have these troubles.

I recommend buying a copy via Steam. It is very inexpensive, it will be fully patched, and EB works just fine with it.

Why would you think that a copy with obvious problems (v 1.3??) is not causing your trouble?

Um, Sorry-But did you read the part that my CD is pretty messed up, And I also personally dislike having to put it in every time as half the time it dosen't work(Weird) I use a NOCD. A NOCD does not mean I am a pirate, NOCD's are legal and can be used in the event the CD is *******, Lost, Broken, Etc....My Gawd, Every forum and I'm insulted constantly.

Forgive me. I thought I said the NOCD was not, but the patch-Gold Edition was. I heard its a common bug that could be fixed, but nobody ever said the fix-Just go find the Crack on the total war website which I cannot as many are dead, and well-Gold Edition 1.5 patch.

Or are you saying that Gold Edition is utterly bugged, it will be impossible to find a GE patch, and I will have to go buy via steam?

Alright. Thanks. However, if their is an RTW:GOLD Edition patch, could you link me toward it as it seems I cannot find it, I'm just curious if it'l work better?

And I'll go look into steam then. Thank's for being helpful.

Frankly, I have Gold Edition as well, and I don't think I've ever seen a "Gold Edition" patch. The patch I used was, I believe, from totalwar.com, but that no longer has Rome so sucks to that. I've used File Planet for other patches, here's their 1.5 patch:

I GOT IT. It was the Gold Edition, the Sega messed it up (Did massive research). I got one of the early ones, so thats why it was so screwed. Thank You, I got the mod working-It's amazing! I may never play Vanillia again.

(Though, No Urbon Cohors. Then again, Firefighters/Policeman as elite troops? Ehhh)

Why would you post this question in Europa Barbarorum forums? You have no idea what this mod is about. Try Google my young ignorant friend. EB is something else.
