Old problem, new pc pt.2
First up, this is NOT a double post!!!!
So why part 2? Well, at first I assumed that the problem I have is 1 of the same, apparently it's not. So what's the problem? Although I can play Shogun 2 now, I still can't play Avatar Conquest. The game will just crash during the loading screen after the lobby screen. No errors, just a simple CTD, unless you want to include Steam pop up to an icon when you launch Shogun 2 right after the clash as well then every time I crash, this icon will pops up. Why did I used to think it's the same problem? Because it occurred on Avatar Conquest first, then the entire game. But now I can play the singleplayer, but not Avatar Conquest.
So what should I do?

What kind of internet connection do you have? Multiplayer takes DSL or better.

The modem says ADSL, but will be getting wifi soon. Though I don't understand what does that has to do with my problems since everything works just fine until Rise of the Samurai forced patch.

I for one don't know what CA added/changed so I can't tell you. Whatever it is, we'll have to live with, hope for a patch to put it back the way it was of which normally does not happen, or give up playing.

Re: Old problem, new pc pt.2
So what are you saying? So you're saying this problem isn't mine but CA's?

Could be but I would not put any stock on them admitting it.

Hmm...
So it seems Sega doesn't have a branch here (though I think I remember seeing them) Where should I contact or Sega of which country should I contact then?

Re: Old problem, new pc pt.2
Yes i did, irishron, my country isn't on the list, I'd emailed to the distributing company, they didn't know much & they took forever to reply, they just replied few minutes ago actually. Not even mentioning it seemed they're using google translate to talk to me, I think I might just missed something.
Sorry Shavoi, I use AMD, the problem is the Avatar Conquest, the rest is fine.

Well that sucks, can't I just get anything? Don't CA have some data or something? Just something, anything.

Re: Old problem, new pc pt.2
CA shove all their official support through Sega's.
http://forums.totalwar.com is the "unofficial" support with the top third of the forums being Shogun2.
Possibly something inall these FAQs. http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...l=1#post366171 Read them all.
