As to the different fort rules, almost in every hotseat the fort rule is 4 men per fort, some are even heavier. There are a very few hotseats which allow 1 unit a fort

I ended next to you diagonally, then the army just happened to be lead by my one and only mounted general I really need to start keeping 1 cav unit with each army The game should not show wrong unless ive got multiple generals in the stacks (other generals does not benefit from +movement, so the game shows the army capable of the laziest general while the army and the main general can move further)

Other than that... Ive yet to come across a mod where the Harlaw (Great and Powerful Bender!) is not awesome
