    Default Another Marraige question

I kind of got irritated when In a late campaign for HRE i got to around turn 200 and I realized I stopped getting marraige proposals Female to male. I mean I have huge family tree and pretty much all of them are un married. I read about taking more territory but that doesnt seem to work I have exactly 52 settlements.

I installed the Royal Ladies of the Court (RLC) for 6.4
But I don't understand how this would solve the issue. Can u use the princesses to marry family members that aren't Heir/King??

Or is this just part of the game that Ill have to deal with. Won't your family get killed off eventually?

The fact that marriage offers for male FM are almost non existent in the late game does irritate us all. The Royal Ladies submod will give you the ability to recruit how many royal princesses you want (if you have the money) and marry them to your single male FM. You can marry any male FM, he doesn't need to be a heir/faction leader.

So if you recruit the Royal envoy then I can marry them to anyone of my family members even if they are not the king or heir?

Yes, it works the same way with regular princesses, except they cant marry their brothers, while uncles and cousins all work fine, also you can marry them to your own generals that were recruited from castles i believe.

That's interesting, I had not expected this absence of princesses. Even in the earlier game many princesses never seem to materialise. I had a couple of announcements that princesses were beyond marrying age, when in fact they never turned up. I certainly have not had a princess as a character from my own faction since around game turn 100. I must have not been reading the forum as much as I should.

Does this apply to princesses of all factions or to your own?

Geoffrey, i think you misunderstood what we are talking about - bdunk had a problem not getting enough announcements at the begging of a turn that a woman that is ready to be married to family member X has been found.

The princesses that "never turned up" are daughters of family members that arent your faction leader/heir, only the daughters of your FL/FH are going to be princesses on the map, the rest will be "generic" princesses that will get marrige offers from time to time, and if you dont marry them off untill the age of 45 they will dissapear off of your family tree.

The problem is that not enough of these "generic" princesses are offered in late game when your family tree has grown huge, for some reason, ofcourse you can still marry your heir/leader to a foreign princess, but any other FM will probably end up having no wife thus no kids to pass on his awsomeness in administration/war and you will have to adopt some randoms into your royal family. The RLC submod fixes this problem by allowing you to recruit a princess on the strategic map that you can use for diplomacy and get her to marry your generals.

Yes thanks Baltic thanks for clearing it up.

Any idea if the problem late in the game that your FM end up not getting married and having kids happens with Islamic Factions? I have never played long enough to find out?

It is a good mod, adds a lot of roleplaying flavor
