Too easy.

I became disillusioned playing Rome, with my reforms not coming through. So I decided I will wait until the next patch, and start another game, confident in the promise (I trust) that the reforms will work next time.

So I thought to try out playing another faction. Of course, Carthage being the other heavyweight, I chose it.

Wow, it is soooooo easy playing Carthage. When you take a region, in two turns it is subdued. You can build up a steam roller like in vanilla. I am seven years into the game, and have taken Sicily, Rhegion, the entire north African coast, I am working my way up the east coast of Iberia, my fleets have shut down the west coast of Italy. I am thinking to adopt any mongrel who comes my way, since anyone can be a governor, and it will be years until my brood comes of age. This is the only factor that may cause me to pause.

How soon will that patch be out? I want a challenge.
