    Default Idea: Rhun clan system

    Rhun is concerning lore not a kingdom or a state but a federation of eastern clans. Therefore I think it would be a good idea to depict this ingame to allow roleplay feeling and lore immersion. This is how I imagine this:

    Clan buildings:

    When you conquer a region you can either build the building "client kingdom" with slower growth, less income but more public order or a clan building, which you need to build any buildings. The clan buildings represent the clans Balchoth, Variags, Logath, Sagath or Urgath. If an other faction conquers the region the building is destroyed and if all buildings of one clan are destroyed the clan is extinced.

    Clan traits:

    Every Rhun general/family member has a clan trait. The clan trait is heredatary but adopted generals trait are random. Different clans could have different effects on the characters.

    Clan power:

    If a clan populate a region, a clan member becomes faction leader/heir or has an important character the clan becomes more powerful within the Rhun federation and the player gets a message about it. In the same way it can also become weaker. There could be also strength levels from weak to very strong.

    Clan chieftain:

    A character has the chance to become a clan chieftain, which gives authority. Only one chieftain of a clan at the same time is possible.

    Beginning situation:

    The start regions beginn with a clan building and the general of the region has its clan trait.

    I have a related idea I am working on for Rhun, which I eventually plan to include in my Third Age Expanded mod. Rhun would start with fewer regions, and have to unite the tribes in order to gain access to AOR tribal units (Balchoth, Variags, a couple additional new units for the other tribes) and full access to their upper tier units. I'd welcome your input on this. I'll be starting a thread for this later, once I get the ideas fleshed out some more.

    I've incorporated much of what you suggest here into the next version of Unite the Clans!, which will be released tonight.
