Campaign Map on PC

Hello All,

This is my first post as i am new to all this total war stuff!!

I have just purchased Total War Eras and to my dismay found that none of the campaign maps or tech trees are included!!

Can anyone help? I am fed up wandering around the map looking for a province for ages so need the maps for shogun (not that important as not that big) medieval, and especially rome total war.

Cant believe that they werent included in the package!!

Welcome to TWC.

This is a cheat, but its one that many people use. In game, on the campaign map, press the button below esc and above tab (dont know whats its called - has the back to front apostrophe). This opens up the RTW console. Then type:

toggle_fow

This will disable fog of war and you will be able to see the entire map. To disable this, simply type toggle_fow again. Alternatively, you can open up the text document 'preferences.txt' in your rome - total war folder and change the entry: 'FOG_OF_WAR:TRUE' to: 'FOG_OF_WAR:FALSE'

Cheers for that. I still have the hump though that i have not got the nice glossy maps in my eras pack!

I am being cheeky now but do you know a similar kind of cheat for Medieval total war?
