dwarven diplomat: ''aye sire, representing scotland'' audio file

Anyone know a fix for this?

I believe King Kong mentioned that there is no fix, due to a shortage of voice actors. We simply lack a Dwarven version of the diplomat sounds, so King Kong resorted to using the Scottish.
You could 'fix' it by finding someone who can do a Dwarven voice.

The Scottish voice acting is not the problem. Occasionally the dwarven diplomat says he is representing Scotland. You could probably mute it so he said nothing instead.

though it's a bit of a work

1) First open this tutorial by Aikanár http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=352289

2) Read and carefully follow the section at the top called Prerequisites and how to use them (download the .idx extractor, but you shall not use either of the linked soundfiles in TATW's case)

3) Then open export_descr_sounds_stratmap_voice.txt in Third_Age_3/data
Search for this line and change the red marked number from 3 to 4 (that's what I used in MOS)

                                    event delay 0
                                             folder data/sounds/Voice/Human/Localized/Camp_Map
                                                  xScottish_Diplomat_Outro_Demeanour_Better_1.mp3
                                                  xScottish_Diplomat_Outro_Demeanour_Better_2.mp3
                                                  xScottish_Diplomat_Outro_Demeanour_Better_3.mp3
                                    end

4) Open Third_Age_3/data/sounds

Backup Voice.idx and Voice.dat. Also backup events.idx and events.dat
Then delete them from the sounds-folder

5) Restart the game, the files will recreate themselves (can take a little while the first time the game start) and no more Scotland mentioned.

I'm using MOS and it is already as you said. I wonder why am i hearing it then. After doing what you said to those files they come back,but after that i get no sound.

Aaah, then it's me who have not weeded out all vanille references (my suggestion above was to remove the comment "A good day for your people, and Scotland's" which was in vanilla TATW at least still in 3.1, thinking of it).
Will go trough it and fix this noted 'Scotland problem' in MOS 1.3

Wait, so what has happened? Are you being sarcastic? What's the problem? The 'representing scotland' line as you showed me had the number which you told me to change it to already. The problem was in MOS

Yes, most of them are gone. I think one of the only ones remaining is the 'aye sire, representing scotland'' when you send him to a person/settlement
