M:TW 1 Scottish Historical Campaign?

G'day all, after a long time off, I decided to get back into M:TW 1 and reinstalled it today, with the vague memory of playing a historical campaign for Scottish independence.

When I booted up the game I couldn't find it at all, and I was hoping someone could clear up if I'm just imagining it, or if it came later on with an expansion or something.

I could have sworn there was a campaign against Edward I from the Scottish perspective, and would really like to have a crack, so I would appreciate anyone's help in locating this campaign, or even if someone could clear up whether it ever existed at all :wink: or just in another game.

I think that might be the historical campaigns, they were a string of hostorical battles really, and were in the single player bit.
But the only mod that I know of that features Scotland is XL. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...?t=2988&page=1.

Oh, ans this should be moved to the MTW1 section.

BKB super medieval mod has Scotland in as well. I don't know of any mod with a historical campaign for Scottish independence though...

And if you want BKB's mod, good look finding it. It took me hours of searching on google for a working link.

There were 2 historical battles that involed scotland which were stirling bridge and bannockburn. But no historical campaign.

Might be thinking of Age of Empires II.. There was one in there.

Probably highland warriors since its the only game i ever heard of that is based on the scottish independence or you might be confused think you were playing a historical campaign when you were actually playing the scots in viking invasion.

No. There was also Braveheart game. I played only the demo becouse i cant get this game anywhere, but from what i remember it was totalwarish and 3d.
