Default Multiple Armies should be Selectable in Campaign

Every time I play TW I end up with alot of full stack armies. My enemy those that aswell and centers them somewhere. That way it is very difficult for me to get all my armies at the same time attacking his armies. He will always intercept one or two armies that were to early there. This way it is almost impossible to have more then 5 armies move to 5 others at the same time.

CA, please make more then 1 army selectable in the campaign map!

Hmm like group selecting them on the Campaign map? those must be some intense battles with all those armies right by each other.

Good idea but I would prefer multiple armies in a single stack.

Hope so, single stacks has too many tactical limitation and hurts the Ai more than anything.

I think what they should do is have like a "stack train", full stacks can stick to each other, which allows for a 5 stack army to just click on another 5 stack army to engage.

Not necessary if you can just have 50 men per army, then just divide them!
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer

They already made a change towards this by increasing the range of nearby armies being
able to support when sharing a province me thinks.

The OP was talking about this very issue being a problem, you have to move all of your supporting armies within the intercept radius for them to join the battle. My problem with this is the Ai just blunders towards the players stack/stacks with one army at a time and the only one with multiple armies on the field is most likely the player unless its a siege.

I could swear that in rtw1 i have seen ai having 30 single unit stacks of scipii somewhere in egypt
    close together.

Well overall a good idea here - i only meant to point out that they already did turn to a little bit
    in this direction.

Off course having a stack of stacks should lower the movement speed (which would mean range)
within a turn which i do believe would disappoint a few people supporting this idea but this has
to be taken into consideration then.

I actually experience a different problem, the armies just simply go around my armies and go for the castle/city rush, which doesn't make for an epic engagement, I'll tell you that.

lol - this reminds me on the movie battleship when Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch) said something like:

In my post I mention a usability problem that occurs when having more then 1 army engage multiple armies at the same time (through the reinforcement and intercept system). In the current stat, like Shogun2 and Napoleon its very hard to do a 5vs5 full stack engagement.

Thats why CA should make an army, consisting out of stacks that are bundled together for usability reasons.

Like how you group units kind of but with armies on the campaign map, that sounds like a great idea.
