Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Center
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): No.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Not any Brazilian party
    Religion: Agnostic

Abortion: Should be legal in any case.
War in Iraq: Against any imperialist endeavour. Though they were defending their interests, they shouldnt mask it with an aura of rightousness
Marijuana: Should be legalised. Dont care about what you put into your system, your body inst mine
Firearms: Should be heavily and strictly regulated
    Gay Marriage: For
    Gay adoption: For
Religion in schools: In public schools, against. Private ones should be able teach it if they want to, though.
    Death penalty: Strongly against.

Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: Palestine refused peace when they had the chance, and lost all battles and wars. Isreal has no right to settle the West Back either, but then again, the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.
Crimea: Too late to take it back. Though i think Western Ukriane hould have been returned to Russia after the end of the USSR, you cant just roll the tanks like you were playing Hearts of Iron. Sanctions are deserved.
Kosovo: is a lot of things, but not Serbia
Nato and EU: A way of the West to exert influence and keep Russia at bay. Petty european rivlaries mean that the union will dissolve at the fist chance possible, though.
Communism: Like lighsabers; cool concept, but cant be real in our wolrd.
Syria: Along with all other countires inveted by the pencils of neo-colonialism, should be dissolved.
My own country: Those who say ''anything other than PT'' are in for an unwelcome and very christian surprise. And also, it was for 20 cents, the Brazilian people dont care about change, or anything that doesnt benefit them directly really.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: A little left of center
Do you identify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): green/ libertarian
Do you identify yourself with a certain political party: No, I vote based on who I think is the best candidate for the job regardless of party. I also support smashing the 2 party duopoly present in American politics

    Religion: Atheist

Abortion: Do not always personally agree with depending on circumstances but there are times when it is necessary. I would leave it alone as it stands in the U.S. Plus who am I to tell someone else they can't have one?
War in Iraq: A giant mistake and I strongly disagree with most American foreign policy since WW2
Marijuana: Completely legal and regulated like alcohol. All other drugs should be decriminalized and the "war on drugs" sham should be dismantled before we waste another trillion dollars on it.
Firearms: Absolutely, I also support people taking up arms against their government should it become tyrannical
Gay Marriage: Yes, someone else's marriage is none of my business. It should be a contract between 2 people and nothing more.
    Gay adoption: Yes
Religion in schools: Religion itself does not belong in public schools. Private schools and universities sure. I wouldn't have a problem with a class about religion necessarily but keep prayer and all that other stuff where it belongs.... In your home or in your church.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Center
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Conservative (but not the ones that prostitute themselfs to the socialists)
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: No... maybe NVA
    Religion: Christian/agnostic

Abortion: Why not... the individual may decide (for another individual
    ... maybe undecided)
War in Iraq: Now we see it was wrong.
Afghanistan: It will become Taliban territory again
Marijuana: I don't use it, but some of my friends do.. not realy an opinion. It maes them only depressif but by the look of it is not very different from normal cigarettes
Firearms: Should be heavily and strictly regulated, but a non-felon should be allowed to possess them (non-assault weapons!)
Gay Marriage: My uncle is gay... Maybe private.
Gay adoption: Undecided, but I believe they can be even better parrents.
Religion in schools: Epicurism FTW!!!! Philosophy must become more imporant!
Death penalty: I support it for the most brutal crimes (Dutroux)

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: far left on social issues, left on environment, right on fiscal policy
Do you identify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): libertarian mostly, but not always
Do you identify yourself with a certain political party: Not really. I tend to vote democrats for president and republican for other offices (e.g. governors
). I'd vote republican more often if the party was not hijacked by the religious right

Abortion: No problems with it at all. It is a personal decision
War in Iraq: Disagreed with it but at the time thought it would take ~20 years to be able to answer "was it worth it"
Marijuana: Completely legal and regulated like alcohol. All drugs should be legal and regulated (some harsher than others). A person should have the right to put in their bodies what they wish
Firearms: Complicated. In my utopia --banned. Don't favor that in the U.S. though, it is not feasible.
Gay Marriage: Without a doubt. Even polygamy should be allowed.
    Gay adoption: Yes
Religion in schools: Religion should not be promoted. It can be discussed in school, but as objectively as possible.
Death penalty: Absolutely. If you cannot be a productive member of society you should be removed. However, it does not appear to be working. Fails as a deterrent and costs more than imprisonment.

Political Compass Result: Didn't answer the questions, find them boring and silly.
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Lower Left Corner
Do you identify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Social Democrat. Although to be honest, progressives sometimes scare me with their naive belief in the primacy of government and overzealous faith in the political process.
Do you identify yourself with a certain political party: No, politics are a joke in my country.
    Religion: Atheist
    Abortion: Yes
    Marijuana: Legal
Firearms: For. Despite being a liberal, I view this as a basic civil right, not something the government should intervene in, just as with homosexual marriage and religion. At the end of the day, a well armed citizenry is the last (and best) defense against tyranny.
    Gay Marriage: Yes
    Gay adoption: Yes
Pedophilia: If she's old enough to bleed, she old enough to breed. Actually, no. From a jurisprudence perspective, what counts as "pedophilia" should depend on a case by case basis. If there is evidence of exploitation or coercion was in a relationship with a significant age difference, then it should be additionally considered as such. A person who totally consensually slept with a promiscuous 17 year old girl at some party, shouldn't have his entire life ruined due to some arbitrary age of consent figure. On the other hand, a 19 year old woman forced or compelled into a marriage she doesn't want with some 50+ year old rich geezer shouldn't be perfectly legal like it is now. Again, it all depends on whether force, deception or coercion played a hand in facilitating the relationship.
Religion in schools: Against, unless it's a religious seminary of some sort.
Death penalty: No. No one has the right to carry it out. It doesn't matter if the criminal truly deserves it or not. If the death penalty was applied even to minor offenses, the presumed social benefit from this would be tremendous. If we wish to use the death penalty to improve the social order, there's no reason for us to advocate it for great offenses, yet withhold it for small. Yet I strongly believe that the same reason we don't favor death for say, shoplifting or internet downloading, is the same reason why we shouldn't punish death for more serious offenses. The act by itself is simply immoral, and no civilian should have the right to carry it out. That said though, it is sometimes necessary to kill someone who is posing an immediate danger to an innocent. The three laws of robotics which we struggle to impart artificial systems with, we should begin by learning to obey ourselves.
    Communism: Red Robot
Capitalism: Blue Robot. Insert 25 cents to play.
Fascism: A ready made ideology for teenagers who want to look edgy, and individuals with IQ that would have ironically qualified them for liquidation under the T-4 programme.
Libertarianism/Anarchism/etc: I'm sympathetic to this in principle, due to its radical and anti-political elements. On the other hand, in daily life, I take the realistic approach (vote, support legitimate government, pay taxes, participate in society, etc). A lot of them have utopian complexes, they see the world as not fitting their perfect mold and thus are interminable on certain issues. I think this is severely misguided to say the least. I believe in legitimate government.
Religion: Only when the last priest is cast down from the last steeple from the last church, shall humanity be finally free. I am only convinced by reason and logic with solid groundings in empirical observation. We must understand our cognitive flaws and limitations as human beings, and experience the world through scientific thinking, not superstition and myth. I'm not a militant atheist, but religious claims are all necessarily based on illogic and derivative ethnic fairy tales, which is not something I can take seriously.
Nationalism: We're all mold on the surface of a tiny spherical speck suspended in innumerably vast expanses of space and time... Being overly attached to one strain of the fungus is just pitifully laughable to me.
Patriotism: Last refuge of a scoundrel.
Drugs: At one time, I used to be pro-total legalization, but since then I've seen and spoken extensively some people whose lives have been utterly ruined by drugs, or had persons in their family dying as a result of the drug related violence. My view has somewhat shifted toward supply restriction coupled with decriminalization of possession and medical licensing of certain substances. The Drug War HAS to end, it's cruel and inhuman, not to mention utterly fails in achieving its purpose.
Borders: No such thing should exist.
Immigration Policy: People should come and go whenever they want. There is no such thing as "ethnic purity", the things we consider nationalities today were always the result of gradual ethnic drift and intermixing. For example, just 150 years ago, France was flooded by Albanian and Eastern European immigrants, who were often the target of much the same warm reaction from the indigenous public as in the present day. Nowadays the descendants of these Eastern European immigrants consider themselves core-blooded Frenchmen, and are probably typing racist posts directed at Muslim immigrants on some internet forum.
    US Foreign-policy: Madness
    USA: The Fourth Reich
UN: A direly needed establishment in theory, but in practice it's just a meeting club for dictators and lifetime presidents of banana republics exchanging their countries national assets for chump change as part of the universal neoliberal "reform" assistance program. Despite what leaders of states hypocritically say, nobody cares for international law, in the end expedience (supported by plenty of nukes) always decides.
EU: Monty Python with a tinge of Kafka. A hopelessly oblique bureaucratic organization which busies itself with deciding which moldy smelly cheese or pickled vegetable can be termed as an authentic national product in order to ban its production in any other country.
Russia: A mentally retarded, autistic, schizophrenic child prone to periodic violence outbreaks that lead to self-inflicted harm, currently ruthlessly bullied by other children on the block (after being caught molesting his younger sister).
Israel-Palestine Conflict: A plague on both of them. Israel doesn't represent me and I don't identify with the Israeli view on most things. I don't understand why the nations of the world must center their entire foreign policy attention around this tiny, insignificant, ethnic nation state.
Islamic Terrorism: Overplayed in my opinion. Most Muslims I've known and spoken to over the years, even the ones with hardcore Islamic views, had nothing but vitriolic hate for the violent jihadist types for twisting and defaming their traditions and religion. Most victims of terrorism, and terror related wars are Muslim. Until Muslims step up and deal with this problem themselves, there will be no end to it.
War in Iraq/Afghanistan/Libya/Syria/Somalia/Ukraine/134 other Axis of Evil nations:
All wars are built on frauds and lies.War is the health of despotism.A nation which wages it for long periods of time, necessarily will cease to be a civil, free, democratic modern nation. This threat of a government gradually losing its legitimacy in this way is far greater than the one posed by terrorism.
    Political Idols:
Mengzi, Xun Kuang Zi, Zhuge Liang, Lin Xesu, Hannibal Barca, Aristotle, Epictetus, Seneca, Omar Khayyam, Erasmus, Thomas More, Etienne de la Boetie, Pascal, Leibniz, Bastiat, Rousseau, Montesquieu, Max Weber, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Canada.
    Political Enemies:
The Roman/Byzantine Empire, The Catholic Church, The Spanish/British/Russian Empires, the CCCP (and the CCP), Alexander, Caesar, Frederick, Napoleon, Bismark.

    Political Compass Result

This is surprising even to me, as based on my self-perception I would have expected something like this:

The divergence in results is probably due to the limited possibility of giving detailed answers to the complex questions asked on the political compass website.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum:
    Centre
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc):
not particularly, usually supporting liberal/conservative coalitions though. (Mind that the notions of liberal and conservative imply different political agendae in Germany/Europe than across the Atlantic. Generally everything in Europe is shifted a bit to the left compared to the US, which might also account for the unexpected compass result.)
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party:
    no
    Religion:
    Roman Catholic

    Abortion:
Should be allowed only under severe medical indication, although the church should provide facilities to take care of unwanted children and financially support the parents
    War in Iraq:
    Against
    Marijuana:
    no use outside medicine
    Firearms:
illegal except for professional use (military, security forces, rangers and forest officers,...)
    Gay Marriage:
as long as civil marriage is not confounded with religious rites I do not see a conflict.
    Gay adoption:
pending results of long-term studies on child welfare, veering towards yes, though.
    Religion in schools:
Yes, as long as there are options to choose including non-religious ethics
    Death penalty:
    Against
"Non i titoli illustrano gli uomini, ma gli uomini i titoli." - Niccolo Machiavelli, Discorsi
"Du musst die Sterne und den Mond enthaupten, und am besten auch den Zar. Die Gestirne werden sich behaupten, aber wahrscheinlich nicht der Zar." - Einstürzende Neubauten, Weil, Weil, Weil

On an eternal crusade for reason, logics, catholicism and chocolate. Mostly chocolate, though.

I can heartily recommend the Italian Wars mod by Aneirin.
In exile, but still under the patronage of the impeccable Aikanár, alongside Aneirin. Humble patron of Cyclops, Frunk and Abdülmecid I.

Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): I don't
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Nope
    Religion: Agnostic/Atheist

    Abortion: For the rights
    War in Iraq: Against
    Marijuana: Legalised
Firearms: For with some minor regulation. It's best to not encourage crazies and gun owners to be in the same group.
    Gay Marriage: For gay marriage
    Gay adoption: For gay adoption
Religion in schools: Unbiased view of many religions, private schools can do as they please on the topic of religion.
    Death penalty:
Against. An incredibly stupid idea. I'll leave such savageries to the savages of the world and let them reap the fiery fruits of their savage society.
EU: Against, it's too authoritarian, it's like a busy body neighborhood watch.
Communism: a failed ideology, too easily corrupted into authoritarianism, it might even be defined as inherently authoritarian.
Fascism: The ultimate designed for sociopaths by sociopaths. Its death rattle can be heard to this day.
    Capitalism: Not bad, not good.
Anarchism/Libertarianism: More of these please. Ultimately these ideologies are doomed to failure, much the same as authoritarianism, balance is key and we need to shift the balance more in this direction before it's too late.
Nationalism: The sole "virtue" of the vicious.
Patriotism: Neutered, de-fanged and de-clawed nationalism.
Drugs: Yes please. Prohibition exacerbates the problem it seeks to destroy. It is one of the many great follies of the modern age.
Borders: Temporary artificial lines drawn on perpetually shifting sand. It's only by our collective and divided egos that we think such vanities have any meaning.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are so certain of themselves, but wiser people are full of doubts.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Liberals
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Liberal
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: No, there is no liberal party in my country that I could support.
    Religion: Atheist
    Abortion: acceptable in some cases.
    War in Iraq: I supported.
    Marijuana: I'm against legalization.
Firearms: citizens should have right to own firearms, but after passing psychology test.
    Gay Marriage: I support.
    Gay adoption: I support.
Religion in schools: In public schools - teaching only about historical background of all religions. No support for "teaching" any particular religion as "true one". Freedom of teaching in classes organized and maintained by specific religion organizations, but extremists should be monitored and schools where anyone is teaching a dangerous version of religion should be closed.
Death penalty: I'm against it. Though some people deserve death, there are may be a situation when a state kills a man not responsible for any crime (mistakes happen). And that's unacceptable.
EU: I support the idea, though I do not support some decisions. But overall EU is a good thing to have.
Communism: the history proved it's a one huge fail.
    Fascism: another failed ideology.
Capitalism: Has bad elements, but overall it's quite ok.
    Anarchism/Libertarianism: bad idea.
    Nationalism: another bad idea.
Patriotism: quite ok, as long as it helps building a better life and improve living conditions in country/close neighbouhood. Bad when it turns into nationalism.
    Drugs: Prohibited.
Borders: good thing, should be protected and maintained.

I have gone quite strongly to the right and had a slight increase in authoritan since I did this last year, putting me closest to Stalin

    From: Economic Left/Right: -8.12 - Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.36 To: Economic Left/Right: -5.88 - Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 5.28

I doubt the accuracy of this test, but a fun exercise.

    DOB: 20th of April, 1985
    Country of Residence: Scandinavia
    Nationality: Nordic
    Political Compass Result: Economic Left/Right: -5.88 - Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 5.28
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Nationalist Left
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Strasserism
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: No
Religion: Protestant (the one true faith)
Abortion: Totally against, should be punished with the death penalty. An eye for an eye.
War in Iraq: Against. It was an imperialist project to prop up the petrodollar since Saddam threatened to sell the oil in Euros.
Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: Not our concern. Let the strongest win. Preferably Israel so we could dump the rest of the Jews there.
Syrian Civil War: I fully support Assad, he is a great man, may he crush all the rebel dogs.
Marijuana: Legalize it now! Full legalization. In fact all drugs should be legalized.
Drugs: I'm for em! Makes life better and shooting smack turns you into a rock star.
Firearms: Free for all proper citizens, not for foreign races living within the country.
Immigration: Only from other North European countries and only people of the same race. In fact all alien races should be expelled from Europe and the outer borders should be fortified. My vision is an establishment of a Fortress Europe in order to secure the existence of our people and a future for White Children.
Nationalism: The source of light, freedom and brotherhood.
Racism: Natural, sound and scientific. A healthy society is a society that takes racial hygene seriously.
Fascism: An ideology dedicated to truth and the enlightenment of humanity, I am against certain of the dictatorial implications however. Therefore it is a hesitant against. If good leadership was 100% guaranteed I would change my mind.
    Capitalism: Evil incarnate.
Communism: Only if the economical side merges with nationalism and conservatism.
Gay Marriage: Against. Homosexuality should be criminalized.
Gay adoption: Against. Homosexuality should be criminalized.
Religion in schools: Proper teaching of the Bible should be mandatory along with introductionary prayers each morning.
    Death penalty: For it.
Parliamentarism: I am against this the same way I am against prostitution.
    Prostitution: See parliamentarism.
EU: Tear it down. The only thing I will miss is Nigel Farage.
Borders: Depends on which borders. Borders between people of the same race are largely artificial counstructs used to divide brothers and preventing them to see the true enemy. Borders against other races are however a necessary bulwark needed to protect ourselves against the onslaught of a second Dark Age.
Historical inspirations: Gustavus Adolphus, Adolphus Hitlerus, Oliverus Cromwellus and Carolus Rex.

    Country of Origin:
    Greece
    Nationality: Greek
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Communism
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Greece (Communist Party of Greece).
    Religion: Atheist
    Abortion: Support
    Gay Marriage: Support
Gay Adoption: Against, firstly we should educated the immature and stupid children to accept that their classmates might have homosexual parents.
Education: It should be a free monopoly of the state.
    Marijuana: Against.
    Immigration: For.
Firearms: Against. They should be completely illegal.
Healthcare: It should be a free monopoly of the state.
    Social Security: Age retirement>65
Euthanasia: Support only if it's asked by the moribund.
Death Penalty: Support (only in cases where the guiltiness and the cruel nature of the crime are indisputable).
The Military: A mechanism that protects the ruling class' interests in the interior or exterior.
    Iraq War: Against.
    Afghan War: Against.
War on Terror: Against. It's just propaganda.
American Foreign Policy: Rather aggressive, but typical of a major power.
British/European Foreign Policy: Kissing America's ass, but anyway they are too feeble to exercise an independent foreign policy.
Syria: Support the Syrian State and Government, along with the Bakdash Communist Party of Syria.
Iran: Despite the fact that I don't like the religious influence on government's acts, I truly support their opposition to USA and their efforts to obtain nuclear weapons, in order to control the reckless, Israeli behaviour.
Israel: An aggressive state, which was created, in order to limit antisemitism in Europe and establish a buffer state between the Arabs.
Pakistan: Opposed. Is just two-steps shy of a failed state.
    Saudi Arabia: Opposed. Fascists.
Kosovo-F.Y.R.O.M.-Montenegro: USA's puppet states in Balkans.
Serbia: The most slandered state, but not blind support towards our "orthodox brothers".
Global Warming: Profit is more valuable than human lives, according to capitalism. Of course, I am against.
Labor Unions: Support right to exist and collectively bargain, but not their immoral relationships with employers.
Free Trade or Fair Trade: The second.
EU: Opposed. Its aim isn't the reconciliation of people, but, in contrary, the promotion of capitalist interests.
NATO: Oppose. It's actually a coalition of USA, its allies (e.g. France) and its protectorates (e.g. Greece).
War in Donbass: For the pro-Russian revolutionaries. They are not Soviet states, as their official names imply, but there are still communist elements among the fighters and the enemy, the fascists of Ukraine are much worse.
Yemen: Pro-Houthi. Brave guys fighting against the Saudi-Arabian Nazis and the oppression of the Yemeni protectorate.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Liberal
Do you identify yourself with a certain political party: not really. I kind of want the social policies of Liberal Democrats/Labour, with some of the ideas of the Green party (environment), plus the economic skills of the Conservatives. A grand coalition would probably serve my interests best.
Religion: Sufi Islam. I believe God is found within ourselves, not in the sky.
    Abortion: Support
Gay Marriage: Is marriage a piece of paper, or is it a serious life commitment? Since I think it is the latter, I suppose there's no reason to deny gay people the same right as the rest of us.
Gay Adoption: I have no idea.
Education: Is the best tool we have against the world's problems
Marijuana: OK for medicinal purposes, but probably not a great idea if done to excess. It kind of depends whether you think people should be trusted with individual responsibility or not. It's a tough question. But ostensibly, I think if alcohol is legal than so should Marijuana be.
    Immigration: For.
Firearms: Against. They should be completely illegal.
Healthcare: It should be paid for by the state but there's no reason the state should run it; private companies could do a much better job, given appropriate regulation
Euthanasia: Support the right of people to die with dignity at a time of their choosing.
Death Penalty: Against. It is barbaric. What if a person is wrongly convicted?
The Military: I would like to live in a world where this has no need to exist. However, human nature means that is unlikely to ever happen. I think military forces should be defensive, with interventions strictly limited to cases of preventing genocide.
Iraq War: I hope ISIS is defeated soon. I support the brave Iraqis fighting against them.
Afghan War: In general, I don't think invading other countries is a great idea. It never ends well. It usually makes things far worse.
War on Terror: Against. It's just propaganda. The real terrorists are USA, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
American Foreign Policy: A disaster from start to finish. Catastrophic. Incompetent. Morally disgraceful. The US saved Europe from the USSR, but in the rest of the world its policy has generally been a total failure.
Syria: Just hope the war is over soon and ISIS is defeated as quickly as possible.
Iran: I believe Iran is on an upward trajectory and is probably the most stable and successful country in the Middle East. I also admire their heroic stand against America, and their support for a free Palestine. I believe they are going to be on the winning side of history.
Israel: A terror state that uses apartheid and oppression against the Palestinians for 68 years. Israel should be boycotted by the entire world, and sanctions should be imposed. The settlements should be demolished, the wall demolished, and the Palestinians given their land back. Only then can Israel be recognised as a legitimate state.
Pakistan: It is a messed up country. Its founder Jinnah would be disappointed with how things turned out. Pakistan society seems catastrophically broken with mad ideology. It is a disaster. Pakistani author, women's rights activist and Nobel prize winner Malala Yousafzai says it's as though her country has gone mad. I entirely sympathise with Malala and hope that one day, people like her will succeed in making things better
Saudi Arabia: this is the state that gives Islam a bad name. Its state religion is actually Wahhabism, a corrupted and evil offshoot of Islam that contradicts practically every aspect of the true teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. No criticism of Saudi Arabia is enough to do justice to how much I oppose this hypocritical, twisted state. Wahhabism is a cancer that needs to be stopped. I would like to see Saudi Arabia delivered into the hands of enlightened Sufi teachers. Then we would see a drastic change in the fortunes of the world, for the better.
