Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: A two-state solution is the only sensible policy. But will never happen with current attitudes. Am dead against the ridiculous ideas held by Zionism, or indeed anyone stupid enough to claim a 'right' to land through religious connotation or historic ties.
Drugs: In favour of their legalization (we've done it to alcohol and cigarettes) as then tax revenues may be raised from their sale, along with quality control for those users (i.e. no washing powder and other substances mixed in for a quick profit), also it'll be a big blow to organized crime, by providing legal state endorsement of their sale with professional retailers in adherence with the law, will stop much of the issues with drugs being used as a crutch to entrap people by gangs, or indeed the sex trafficking trade etc. Also will stop wasting public money on the failure that is the 'war on drugs'- education here is key along with health warnings.

Gay adoption: In favour- So many kids are left in limbo due to a lack of loving, stable couples. Why restrict them and their chance at a better life any further?
Religion in schools: Education only. Studying to respect other faiths, and debate their pros and cons of their positions with each other and different cultures. Historical context is also to be paramount. Indoctrination should be spat on. It's up to the individual to make an informed decision about their religious beliefs.
Death penalty: Dead against. Pun intended. The murder by the state of one wrongly accused person is one too many to ever make it justifiable.

Abortion: Only in cases of rape, although adoption is preferred, dangerous for the mother and at an early stage. The "incest" argument is invalid as one who s their own family should have to live with the consequences of a slightly higher chance of disabled child, and is basically arguing disabled children are not deservant of life. If you are referring to rape in the family, then that falls in the category of rape and doesn't make any sense to have a separate category.
War in Iraq: Yes, initially but it has been a colossal failure in terms of execution.
Marijuana: Yes in all cases and terms of a small tax, in exchange for legality and better regulation.

Did one of these a year ago after about two years of being into Politics. It has now been three and I have worked for 3 different Public Servants and have talked to many more, I know I have gotten more Progressive but this graph puts me a bit more left than I actually am, I am considered to be a Democrat but really think I am more of a moderate as I like many Republicans.

Marijuana: Support decriminalization for now, I think in States like mine (Illinois) it would generate large amounts of
revenue from taxes but I also think as a state we should watch the states that have legalised it more closely.

Firearms: Strict Gun Control, I support guns for Hunters and Handguns for people who have completed 48 hours of Gun courses and passed strict background test and mental evaluations but do not support any automatic rifles. I went to a gun range 4 months ago and saw people shooting MG42s, no one besides the military needs that kind of weapon that was created and intended for mass killing.

Gay Marriage: Support... it baffles me why anyone would oppose it.

Religion in schools: Only in Social Studies and the teacher accurately describes all religions and their history.

Death Penalty: Only for the most severe kinds of torture and inhuman acts, if you don't act like a human, you don't deserve to be one.

Obama-Care: I now support it, it has helped many people. Working at a hospital I see some payments and they are ridiculous, this will allow people to spend what could have been bills instead to support our economy.

Obama: Been a good president I think history will judge him kindly, his actions towards ISIS, Immigration and the overall US economy has helped me change my outlook from his first two years.

War in Iraq: I was not really a big supporter but a hasty withdrawal creates a power struggle.

China: I still hold firm the opinion that China is a paper tiger.

Japan: Should be allowed to re-arm it's navy (never more than half of the US's strength though) ... sooner or later territorial disputes with China will escalate and a military conflict could occur.

UN: I support the UN, but doubt it will survive the 21st century.

The Korean Peninsula: Support SK. North Korea is a shame on humanity, its very existence insults the 21st century. Helping South Korea is the ONLY way to save the Korean peninsula... sooner or later NK will fall... whether by the people in its oppressive regime or a foreign power remains to be seen.

American Foreign Policy: I support most of it, granted I know I am biased due to my nationality. I truly belive that most of our decisions are intended to better humanity, but a few have been for greedy rewards and those few choices hurt our image.

Religion in the Government: VERY against..... I am an extreme supporter of separation of church and state.

Communism: Doesn't work.

Socialism: Some redeemable qualities, but only works if the people and government actually want it to, Norway has what... five million people living in it that are from the same region. The United States has over 300 million and is home to hundreds if not thousands of different types of people.

The Tea Party: Completely against, one of the reasons I want to go into politics is to make sure hard core conservatism like this is not allowed, same goes for Liberalism. Any Radicalism is bad, it makes people convinced that they can only be correct and no two radicalised people will ever reach a compromise let alone hear each other out.
