    DOB: 11th of July, 1948
    Country of Residence: United States
Nationality: US and German, dual citizenship.
Political Compass Result: EDIT: Everyone else is using their compass, so here it is: Economic Left/Right: 5.88, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.82
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Right
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Neoconservative, although we don't call ourselves neoconservatives. Also, I am one of the "founders" of neoconservatism. Many people use the term "neoconservative" as code for their anti-Semitism.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Yes. Republican, although the Constitution Party once asked me to try to unseat Barak Obama, of Illinois (I declined, as they didn't have the required $25 million for a viable Senate run in Illinois).
Religion: Christian. Specifically, Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.

    Abortion: Should never be legal.
War in Iraq: For the war. Period.
    Marijuana: Should not be legal.
    Firearms: Should be lightly regulated.
Gay Marriage: An oxymoron. Men cannot "marry" men, and women cannot "marry" women. I would support the granting of civil contracts (not unions ... semantics!), so that gay couples could have legal rights.
    Gay adoption: Never.
Religion in schools: Prayer should be allowed, along with religious clubs, like Youth for Christ. The Bible should be studied as Literature.
    Death penalty: For, reluctantly.

    And on my own list:

Military?: Yes. Served in Vietnam, 2/501, 101st Airborne.
Education Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Ph.D. Will be pursuing Master of Divinity and Theological Doctor (Th.D.).

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Left
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Idealistically, I am an anarchist/anarcho-communist; other than that, not really.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: No
    Religion: None

    Abortion: It should be legal.
War in Iraq: Against it entirely.
Marijuana: It should be legal; whether legal or not, people should feel free to use it as much as they want.
Firearms: They should be highly regulated; **** rednecks and the guns they "need."
Gay Marriage: It should be legal everywhere.
Gay adoption: It should be legal.
Religion in schools: If schools were to accurately explain religion, and convey that there is no evidence supporting any religious teacher, and that all religions are equally plausible; it would be fine.
    Death penalty: Undecided.

    DOB: 1990
    Country of Residence: USA
    Nationality: American, of Irish descent
Political Compass Result: Economic Left/Right: 8.50
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.62
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Right
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Libertarian.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Libertarian, sometimes, and not on all issues. Of course, we are rather split up as a group...
    Religion: Catholic.

Abortion: It is initiation of force against the fetus and therefore wrong. It infringes on the rights of the fetus. It is murder.
    War in Iraq: Support.
Marijuana: People can do and have what they want.
Firearms: People can have what they want.
Gay Marriage: People can do what they want.
Gay adoption: People can do what they want.
Religion in schools: Can be taught, but about many religons.
Death penalty: Against, it is an excessive abuse of state power.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: Redone on May 30th, 2008, in reflection of my current political views. I will leave the above for comparison.

    DOB: 1990
    Country of Residence: USA
    Nationality: American, of Irish descent
Political Compass Result: Economic Left/Right: 1.75 (now there is a huge shift of moderation towards the left)
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31 (another moderation of views, but less radical a shift)
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Off it. But center right, if anything.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): If anything, Libertarian. But I hold my own views regardless of any grouping or party. I have numerous disagreements with the American Libertarian party.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: No. I am rather close to the British Liberal Democrats, however. Technically I am an American Democrat.
    Religion: Catholic.

Abortion: I am firm in my knowledge that life starts at conception. So it infringes on the rights of the fetus. And therefore it is murder. I am more than willing to make exceptions for the health of the mother and perhaps even for rape and incest.
War in Iraq: Support. The surge is doing quite well. Suprisingly well.
Marijuana: Should probably be illegal, do to the possible harm inflicted on others.
Firearms: I truely do believe in the right to bears arms of the individual. However, that is not infringed by serious background checks and waiting periods. And there is no reason for anyone to have some guns, like I don't think anyone needs an assult weapon who isn't in the military.
Gay Marriage: I don't think government should be involved in marriage for anyone, straight or gay. You should be able to sign yourself into a union with another person, similiar to marriage now. Anyone should be able to do this.
Gay adoption: No reason why not.
Religion in schools: Can be taught, but about many religons. Kids should be allowed time to pray if they wish as well.
Death penalty: Against, it is an excessive abuse of state power.

Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: On the Right, but that of the Old Right. The political spectrum too is becoming less accurate.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): A bit of Libertarian and a bit of Paleoconservatism.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: Not at the moment. But probably the Reform or America First Party.
    Religion: None.
Abortion: Against, but leave it up to the states to decide.
War in Iraq: Dumbest war in U.S. history.
Marijuana: No opinion. Perhaps regulated for certain areas that will vote for it to be legal.
    Firearms: Limited regulation.
    Gay Marriage: Against.
Gay adoption: Not sure, but leaning towards no.
Religion in schools: Yes, but voluntarily offer classes. Should not be mandatory.

Religion: No. (raised Church of England, and Jehovah's witness for a bit)
Abortion: Should be legal up until a certain point in pregnancy, for whatever reason the mother chooses.
War in Iraq: Against the war. Of the belief that my country has been duped into fighting a war for the benefit of other nations (The US and Israel, specifically). The removal of Saddam has been the only positive thing to come out of it.
Marijuana: Should be legalised, but controlled.
Firearms: Should be heavily and strictly regulated
Gay Marriage: No problems with gay marriage.
Gay adoption: In a country which is full of single young mothers struggling to raise their children, I think any decent, stable people should be allowed to adopt.
Religion in schools: No problem with religion being covered in school, as long as all religion's are covered equally. I would rather that all prayer's and hymn's were removed from state schools

Working Americans have been repeatedly seduced at the polls by emotional issues such as the predictable mantra of “God, guns, gays, abortion, and the flag” while their way if life shifted ineluctably beneath their feet." - Senator Jim Webb

    DOB: 2 APR 1973
    Country of Residence: USA
Nationality: American, ethicity is French, German, British (in that order)
Political Compass Result: Economic Left/Right: -0.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.03 {I find it hard to believe that this test thing thinks I am so close to the exact center of the spectrum...
Where do you put yourself on the political spectrum: Centre-right
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political grouping (socialist, neocon, etc): Possibly religious right, but empahisis on Libertarian and fiscal Conservative, too. Definitely nationalist, though, which creates isolationist/ use of military might questions for me.
Do you indentify yourself with a certain political party: US politics, Conservative or Libertarian
Religion: Born again. For real, it changed me.

Abortion: NOT a "choice." [when else in civil society can 1 person "chose" to kill another without sanction?] Only life of mother/ extreme cases for incest/rape.
War in Iraq: Was the right thing to do at the time, but where are those WMD that Sadam used on the Kurds? On a positive note, all the whacko-Islamo-facists are drawn to it like a flame--and dying there rather than being effective human missles in NY or other US cities.
Marijuana: Stupid, but a waste of law enforcement resources to prosecute for simple possession given that more people die due to alcohol and tobacco... also a double standard... should be legal but taxed to death (like tobacco/alcohol).
Firearms: Necessary to keep a REPUBLIC.
Gay Marriage: Civil contracts for purposes of contract law equality. Not marriage-- that is spiritual and cultural.
Gay adoption: Society should not be increasing the exposure of children to this misguided lifestyle choice. If you want to do it as an adult, do it at home in private.
Religion in schools: If I have to pay taxes for schools, I am entitled to get my money's worth: my children should be taught my values.
Death penalty: If you are depraved beyond rehabilitation, it is time for the ultimate wage of your sins, death, especially if it might make your victim's loved ones feel closure!
