So I had an idea I don't know if anyone thought about it yet but I thought it would be cool, easy, and make factions have even more of a story as far as individual units go. Since at the end of every battle you can look at each individual units kills and deaths I was wondering if in Rome 2 there could be a system where the game remembers each individuals units kills and keeps a record of them. When you look at the units info it will tell you how many battles the unit has fought and how many men they have killed. Once a unit gets the 1,000 kills I thought you could possibly upgrade them with more advanced armor, weapons, or even upgrade them into a whole new unit that is even stronger (I was thinking more on the lines of the Assassins Creed system where you upgrade your assassins as they complete missions) The benchmarks would be 1,000, 5,000, then at 10,000 (if any unit ever reached such a huge feat which would be very hard and very late game) you would get an elite 10 star general and each soldier in the unit would be made a generals bodyguard so it'd be a very powerful general bodyguards unit. Maybe at the 1,000 and 5,000 marks you could even customize their armor to look however you like and make them more identifiable on the field (for example in the movie troy you could tell achilles soldiers apart because they wore black armor) I know this is a completely new idea but I think it would be easy to implement and would give another awesome feature for veteran players to focus on when taking over the world gets boring you can focus on making a god like unit. Thoughts?
