Wounded soldiers will squirm, groan and roll around in Shogun 2.

Edit: Writhe, not squirm. I couldn't think of it at the time sorry.

I know, but I meant I want to see them still able to be commanded/moved around, not left in a prolonged death animation where they count as "Dead".

I want to see the "Casualties Healed" column returned.

I want equine corpse obstruction. Better yet I want to fire dead horses out of onagers, and also to use them as sandbag defence substitutes. Or food >

I would like to see horses without riders, or them dragging behind. If they happen to run into enemy troops they shouldnt have any real effect though.. I can already imagine some chariots running amok with both passengers full of arrows! Ahhhh the dramatic effect!

Riders would not have been dragged because their were no stirrups yet(that's how riders usually get caught), unless perhaps a riders arm got stuck in the reins, but I know from horseback riding myself since a couple of times I have seen people fall off whose arms were in the rein or who grabbed the rein and it just broke off(leather is not nearly as strong as a 800-900 pound animal, so I doubt anybody would be dragged unless the reins were made of steel cable.

But yeah I'm with you on the rest!

I know that in shogun 2 you can shoot artillery into a mass of horsemen. while some horses will die, other will lose thier riders and run off in a panic.

I'm imagining ultra realism where your general's horse is panicking and throwing him to his death in the first ten seconds of combat.

Should have invested in a better bodyguard.

    What of mountless cavalry?

Cavalry men who lose their mounts during battle and instead have to fight as infantry? Like what happens in NTW when you dismount your dragoons and use them as infantry, but artillery destroys their mounts?

You guys haven't played Shogun 2 yet?

Which is a shame since its the best TW yet, gameplay wise.

Why do people always compare the engine of rome 1 to rome 2 its been 8 years?

Anyways I think as a gore pack dlc dead horses would be great also if your besieged the cavalry must eat the horses.
