    Default Saxons?

    Is there any way y'all can make a Saxon trait for the Sweboz? I know that the Chauci eventually joined the Saxon confederation and that they are culturally similar to the Saxons but the were great and skilled commanders even in ancient times and also they were some the original sea raiders so if y'all could do that I would greatly appreciate it but if not can someone help me to do it on my own for EB I

    Wrong time frame, I'd say. Even though the Chauci and other forerunners are probably gonna be in the game, that doesn't mean that a Saxon confederation would emerge so early.

    He does bring up a good question though about what tribes will be integrated with the Sweboz.

    in my experience, roleplaying with the sweboz in EB(I) was harder than with other factions. it would be cool to see this sort of thing developed more... though i don't think jumping that far ahead in time would be right...

    Ok I see were y'all are coming from the first document talking about Saxons was about 125 AD and that would be a little after the time frame of the game but I do think it would be cool for one of the sweboz reforms to be a confederation type government after they conquer and hold certain cities because all "barbarians" (celts,Germans,etc.) were looking to unite their cultural tribes by conquering or in some cases joining together

    you could try to get this rolling with the EBII team. but you would need significant sources and documentation. it would also have to have to be based on true events or likely possibilities within the timeframe.
