hodor hodor.
yep defenitely Hodor
Gotta be Hodor
Hodor is the favorite
Hodor without doubt. Who else can wrestle dragons to the ground with his bare hands and shout The White Walkers into oblivion? Did I mention he shoots lightning from his arse?

I think it was Beric Donnadarion, he is the only reported character who could aflame his sword with his own blood. It would be ltimate prove that prophesies don't always turn out as they were supposed to. Unless Catelyn will stop the others/revive someone.
Or someone just as unlikely, like Jaime doing a Nissa Nissa on Brienne or something
I hope none of these you listed are the ultimate savior Azor Ahai/Prince that was Promised. But if I have to chose I pick Jon.
Jon because if it's Dany she canoff.

dammit I forgot Hot Pie!
Anyway I really doubt it's Beric because
a) he's dead
b) prince that was promised comes from the line of Aerys Targaryen
Jon can be Azor Ahai only if R+L=J. It actually fits perfectly, the only thing that bothers me is that Jon is easily burnt.
I have tended to assume that Lil' Miss Mel is either mistaken or up to some trickery of her own, but then again having genuine shadowy powers and being a red priest doesn't mean you really now what's going on.
A key point here is that Thewho was promised need not survive the story, may or may not need toSpoiler Alert, click show to read:a loved one, and most certainly need not be the same person who ends up on the Iron Throne. It does open the field.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
No one claimed that Azor Ahai couldn't burn, did they?
And who says the old prophecies weren't themselves misunderstood.
Gurmy has many get-out clauses to work with in any scenario, I am simply hoping he manages to finish his magnum opus before he is struck down by one of life's little fatalities as Douglas Adams was.
Hehe, perhaps it's Joffrey, risen from the dead.

I think GRRM should put in a Hodor POV. Just for the hell of it. E.g:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Adding in the Hodor option probably wasn't too good of an idea. 12 Hodor votes out of 20.......
Eh. I think it's Jon, personally or maybe Azor Ahai isn't one person but 3.... Jon, Aegon and Daenerys could all embody an aspect of Azor Ahai or somelike that. If it is Dany I'll be pissed, but there's no way she is still alive and doesn't play as big part.

UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE KINGPOSTER AKAR
all signs point to Daenerys actually:
edit: I included Hodor to separate trolls from those who actually have something to contribute to this discussion. It turns out I only made more trolls though...Daenerys was born on Dragonstone, an island in the narrow sea ("amidst
salt"), and reborn as the Mother of
Dragons on Khal Drogo's burning
funeral pyre ("amidst smoke"). On that
pyre her three petrified dragon eggs
hatched ("born amidst salt and smoke to wake dragons from stone"), and on that morning for the first time the Red Comet appeared in the sky ("When the stars bleed...").

YOU MADE ME A TROLL! *sniff*
If it is Dany, then Drogo's pyre birthing the dragons might be analogous to Nissa's blood tempering Lightbringer.
When will Melisandre wake up and smell the bacon... or would that be a burning Stannis Baratheon?

Interesting idea, maybe Ligthbringer is actually a metaphor for dragons or dragonfire?
Dany brought her dragons from a fire on the day of the red comet..."There will come a day after a long summer when the stars bleed and the cold breath of darkness falls heavy on the world. In this dread hour a warrior shall draw from the fire a burning sword. And that sword shall be Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes, and he who clasps it shall be Azor Ahai come again, and the darkness shall flee before him."
Then again we must not forget that when Melisandre asks R'hllor for a vision of the Prince that was promised she always sees Jon Snow...
