    Default Regarding construction of Battlements

It's sad to see that I possibly can't use castle fortifications for deploying siege engines. It's sad because as I read about castle fortifications, that battlements were constructed specially for archers and seige engines. If this were there, I could deploy trebuchets, catapults ,ballista etc, on the walls of the castle and shoots incoming army units and siege equipment.

This is actually a grave matter.

Many battles involved using siege engines defensively as cross fire weapons. So if the first line of defensive walls are breached, the enemy would heavy firing from archers and ballistas from the next wall.

Sigh!....If something could be done about this!

It is possible, but not implemented in BC. M2TW can handle deployment of artillery on the walls. With some hex-hacking, you can deploy units on almost every building that offers enough free area, like crossbows on rooftops etc.

There are many creative ways to position siege weapons within a fortification and have them be of immense use -- if not firing over the walls (ballista don't do well there), then firing into and through breaches, firing at siege towers that make it to the walls, and firing at walls themselves from inner walls.

    But I would love more.

Well ,if this is possible then, the possibilities should be explored! Too bad I dunno anything about hex-hacking

Sadly there isn't. It is implemented in the thirty years war mod 1648 - Der dreissigjährige krieg. I haven't seen it elsewhere.
