How many would be the maximum amount of soldiers on the field?

Hi guys,

Was wondering how many troops we could see in the carnage on the field of battle.

Always dreamed of a battle with at least 4 v4 legions up to 40.000 men. I know this has been

impossible recent years as we saw lag ingame when passing 20.000 men on the battlefield in ETW and NTW. Close combat lag and fort lag when coming to close quarter combat.

Would this be the first game that could run a few legions on screen?? If true, this game will be
epic, just like the HBO-series ROME!!

Massive blocks of legions and within them cohorts an aela's of cavalry. No more reinforcement crap!

Meh i still think HBO did right with Ending Rome and adding Game of Thrones.

It's better that they do fantasy rather than portray history inaccurately. If you're going to do history, then do it right.

But yeah I want to see much, much larger battles. Larger battles, fantastic AI, realism and historical accuracy, mod tools are my number one requests.

In TW games you can put on the battlefield, by modifying the preferences script as many men as you want. The problem is what your computer can handle.
But I hope that we will have at least 40 vs 40 and much more ships than before.
