So what does everyone think? I am frankly amazed at the attention to detail, again. Though all the Eastern units I've seen so far look rather similar...

Shouldn't that be an egyptian unit, then?![]()
Yeah, it's yellow, so it's likely egyptian. :original:
As was my concern before, I find the abundance of plate armor on the unit a rather valid sign that we will probably see units mostly catered to a very high or late era of medieval warfare. It's not bad for CA. Nothing that would make me gasp in amazement, but it's cool, and I like the lack of yellow.
Think they are showing better and better units for every time. :hmmm:

He looks very nice.
Didn't notice he had a shield at first![]()
I dont think he is very well armoured compared to knights from the european nations.Nothing spectacular here.
They aren't supposed to. Fighting in full armor in the desert is kinda...hot.Originally Posted by berzerkerman

Crusader TW Leader

Personally I can't wait to play the Eastern factions, I loved playing them in RTW, nice change of pace. Egypt & The Turks look fun.
I am really encoraged my these units. I think we can all be a little happy that they mostly got rid of the cartoony lego skins of rome.

He looks amazing! Really can't wait to play as Egypt, Turks, and Almohads!!
Is this the cavalry unit present in many screenies?
This is a Turkish unit then? I'm guessing because of the nipple-helmet i've seen on screenshots of turkish infantry and it says they are recruited 'From the steppes'.
Looks good, a bit no-frills compared to euro heavy cav but still good.

IM impressed that the CA are really churning out these units!! They all look great, amazing what twice the polygon count can do, and also what its going to do to my pc *BURN*
