    Default Funeral event clips.

Basicly just like the marrige clips from midieval total war except you can watch the funeral of an important person or leader in your faction. I think it would be cool and idk if its been done yet as i have not played Shogun2 or NTW.

    Maybe the funerals could different,

    Ex. Rome
In the republic era a funeral could not be as lets say "Epic" as it would be for a Roman Emperer.

I really enjoy video clips for such events and hope we see them for other things as well. I definitely want to see a video clip for the coronation of new faction leaders particularly for kings and emperors.

A clip of a triumph with chained barbarians, tigers, elephants, female blonde slaves, exotic birds would be magnificent. But funerals would be a nice addition to the game, too.

More clips. More triggerable and random events with substance and backstory. More immersion.

hopfully more clips in general, for everything really, also variety in them. so instead of just one cinimatic for a generals death, how about two or three. same with assassination missions, like in shogun 2!

I am all in favour of more clips.
Really, they add so much to immersion.

This would be cool, especially if they did different clips for different cultures which practiced different types of funeral ceremony (I'd love to see my faction leader get left out for the vultures to devour).

This would be excellent addition to the game.

Different ceremonial funerals for each faction depending on the culture.

Funereal clips would be kind of cool.

This idea is especially relevant to the period : the funerals of Julius Caesar actually had a tremendous impact on the fate of Rome, as Marcus Antonius took these funerals as an opportunity to stirr the hatred of the Roman people and veterans against Caesar's murderers, Cassius and Brutus.

So you could imagine some in-game funeral videos bringing extra bonuses or maluses to the game : for a roman funeral, a speaker would start a discourse in front of the dead general, telling things related to the age, traits, and death circumstances of the general, a bit like the battle opening discourses in other TW games. And then, that would trigger some bonuses or events.

For instance, a Roman 5 star general killed in battle by the Greeks and who had some positive traits like "generous to his soldiers" or "good plunderer" would get a discourse encouraging the people to hate the Greeks and wish for revenge. That would then cause the creation of a free infantry unit + a temporary morale boost to all Roman armies fighting Greek soldiers.

On the other hand, a general killed while fleeing after the loss of its standard (eagle), would cause a discourse mocking the dead general and his effeminate family ("gens"). And your faction generals would all get a temporary "political" penalty in Rome.

And of course, you could also choose to finance some comemorative "games" for the deceased general. In other words, you could choose to offer the crowds a spectacle of gladiators (or other things, depending on your means and greediness). These "games" would also give you temporary bonuses proportional to your investment. For instance, choosing the crucifiction of a few criminals would not bring much to you. But displaying a mock battle of 50 * 50 gladiators would boost your stats in Rome. The only issue would be that the more you or the rival families offered to the people in terms of games, the harder it would become to get decent bonuses (ther would be a competition between families to display more and more dispendious games).

The song just makes everything +5/10 times more dramatic. I see a Minecraft player blown up by a creeper, but instead of death just falls into a dark hole and than this starts playing.
