    Default Letter of Demands (Grand Event)

    Greetings to the Kaiser and other Lords.

    It is my sad duty to inform you that we are now at war. I would not have wished so, but you have refused to heed reason and continued your separate ways.

    We have good casus belli for this war. Denmark has DeJure claim on Holstein, Mecklenburg, and surrounding regions. Previous rulers of Denmark had tried to convince you to hand these regions back, but the ego of the Kaisers thought otherwise. And sending an army to claim Rügen speaks of how you treat what is rightfully ours.

    But we are not at war for material gains alone. Your realm is lawless, and has no written writ. It is my duty as a Christian king to bring your lands under order.

    The King of Sweden has agreed to help and aid me, and to undertake this noble mission. Consider this as a formal declaration of war. Hostilities shall begin immediately.

    Regards.
    King Haakon IV
    King of Denmark.

    OOC: Use this thead for sending letters to the King of Denmark, and receiving replies. Any Lord can send letters.

    Also, this is separate from battlefield or any other diplomacy.

    Greetings to Kaiser Heinrich VIII.

    In discussion with your Chancellor, we came to an agreement where I would extend military aid to you. As I made the promise, I have fulfilled it. The person holding this letter is the messenger of the commander of the army. I have enclosed a list of troops sent for your aid.

    If you should need more or war is not turning around, a letter and more would follow.

    Regards.
    Charles V,
    Roi de France.

    -> 400 French Men at Arms

    -> 100 French Mounted Sergeants

    -> 100 Frankish Knights
